  11. Hey Serious, i had those forks, on my first custom bike, and the left fork, just well, snapped, was fun though, riding on the road with 1 fork, but ended up buckeling my front rim , and screwed up the headset... not worth it..
  12. To be honest thats bad photoshopping, im no xpert, but i will get onto it, and give a better picture (no offence to the photoshopper)
  13. Hey man, i got my Onza T-rex, bout 3months ago now, and what can i say, its love at first sight. For starters, i found that the bike is really light, and is complemeted well by the 'ALex' rims that come with it as standard, and the Hydraulic brakes front and rear, work so well. The stock tires are well, good, dual composite, but after a while of riding they just are like normal tires. One of the only downfalls i found, was that the shifter for the gears, 'sometimes' slips when on rocks or such, but i have got used to it, so i just left it. The frame is very strong, and overall looks great, and feels great to ride, and handles like a dream. My advice is go for the T-rex, i was in the shop, and there was the choice of a Onza T-rex , or a saracen.. i made the right choice. Just bear in mind, the money you are spending is for quality, which you get with onza. good luck with it, i reccomend the ONZA T-Rex
  14. I ride a onza Trex, and i havnt bled the brakes in 1 month -from new, and they just looked at them and said they wnt need bleeding for about 5 months ,if i ride all the time, well meh, i only have a concern with the lube that seeps out of them at the adjuster.
  15. Yeha, i bought the full Onza T-Rex, its one brilliant bike, and the frame is so strong, i would deffenatly reccomend the bike.
  16. Too Old.... Dont think so, besides, with your background, you seem to know that its all about persistance. Hey when you get good you can show the younger people, that you can still beat them at anything, so i say... GO FOR IT
  17. So would you say me being 6ft 4 was a sutable height for a 26"
  18. I was really looking for advice on 20" or 26" because i have only ridden a 26" i am undecided?
  19. I have been riding on a Dawes Tamarak - the old one, which is sloped frame, and i can do basic tricks, but I now have some money and want to get a proper bike, which bike would be good for me. I am 6ft 4in and weight about 12stone. I have arround £350 to spend but, can gather more. So which bike could help me progress? Please help.. Thanks Joe BTW : I have ridden a Onza Woodstock and fell in love, so Onza is my preffered make thanks!
  20. ride, without glove, get some callases on your hands, and soon you dont even feel the grips, just toughen your hands ur and the brakes wont be a problem. Although it is a good idea and i think that you should send it off to a brake manufacturer, see if they are interested, but if you do, get it copywrited otherwise the nice people at where-ever you send your idea will steal it.
  21. I don't know what to do about freewheels, do i stay with the back wheel, and what advatages does that give me, or do i change to front wheel, I have no clue. so Please help me
  22. Being awful at rails, I have found that the only way to do it, sort of, is static. When i roll i seem to turn the front wheel and just face plant into it, or smack my bars.
  23. I found that the only way to learn was to lean back, until the bike rolls from under you, keep doing this(preferably on grass ) until you can just about stop the bike with the brake. You may find that a small endo into this is better, as to not throw the bike from under you so violently. But don't give up, after you fall - keep practicing!
