  1. like i said above, check the for sale/wanted forum and just get peoples msn addies. i have done it before and bought a few bits and bobs off here. cheers lou.
  2. usually on top of the cylinder it will say 'use dot 4 or 5.1' so yeah dot 4 will work fine. cheers lou.
  3. you could get a newer frame than that for that amount of money. i know that there was a 07 python on here for £150 but its up to you really mate. i would check the for sale/wanted first i bet you could get a better deal than that. cheers lou.
  4. and also ask them if they have any cctv in operation and ask them to check the cctv cheers lou.
  5. which ever magura it is, they really are not hard. a bit of advice, use the search mate. cheers lou.
  6. there are a couple things in could be. it could be you need to tighten sum spokes up a bit or another thing is it could be either your hub or your freewheel that has got alot of dirt in it and may need cleaning. if its not any of those then i dont no mate sorry. cheers lou.
  7. first of all mate learn to spell correctly or use the spell checker. zoo pads are very good along with plazmatics. i would use zoo pads for a smooth rim and plazmatics for a grind. cheers lou.
  8. i think that zoo! pads by far are the best pads for tar. they are also the best pads on a grind but the only problem is they dont last two minutes. cheers lou.
  9. after around 5 months my started to creak and make horrible noises and then i did a drop one day and it just snapped clean in half. all the bearings was crushed up. pesonally i think they are rubbish, now i have echo cnc cranks though so i am now running a isis bottom bracket and they are way better. cheers lou.
  10. i would say black for both mate. i think it will look pretty sweet with a yellow rim and it goes with the silver frame and it would go with a black frame aswell. cheers lou.
  11. well in the 05 and the 06 frames there are holes for them because there is in mine and my mate is running snail cams in his frame and they are mint. he is using the ZHI cams they are very good also the fresh products cams are good. cheers lou.
  12. im sure they are coming out around end of march or sometime in april.
  13. well really its all personal preference. you just need to have a go on both bikes and see which one you like best and feel the best on. cheers lou.
  14. the place in the picture is at sheffield. there was a big ride there on saturday that fred grillet aranged and he did that gap and so did billocks and a couple of others did aswell. cls and abdab turned up aswell but they didn't come on bikes they just bought a camara and was taking pics of people. but all in all in was a mint ride cant wait for the next one! cheers lou.
  15. you must of came along time ago then becuase the police are ace round here they dont anything. that was a bit unlucky though! cheers lou.
  16. it want bad lads. if i was you i would wait for a while untill you get better and then make another and i think that it will be a good one. how long you been riding? cheers lou.
  17. aup biff. i was one of the crew that went today. i thought it was a mint ride. it was good to see all the riders. i couldn't believe it when phils bike got pitched, but cant believe he managed to get it back without much trouble. will have to arrange another ride somewere sometime, it would be good. cheers lou.
  18. yeah they do work mate, and they are two very nice pictures. i like the big drop, nice one! cheers lou.
  19. onza t-pro all the way mate. these bikes are the best starter bikes around i think. i think you should look on ebay though because you could get a mint second hand one on here. if you were to buy one brand new then you will have v-brakes and personally i think they are poo, you would be much better off with hydraulics. hope iv helped you mate. cheers lou.
  20. i think that this ride should be in leeds. it looks mint and a couple of mates have rode there and they said it was amazing. LEEDS ALL THE WAY. cheers lou.
  21. its peoples own personal preference really. some might like to have a disk on the rear aswell as on te front or some might want to have a magura on the rear. all depends on wha they prefer best. cheers lou.
  22. aup mate. i had this problem when i had my hope brakes. all i did was buy this and it solved all my problems. i reccommend you read the instructions before trying to attempt it yourself other wise it could be disaster as i found out. hope i have helped. cheers lou.
  23. i am not so much angry but i but i could be in a better mood! this is because i bought a brake booster last week and the bolts were to long. i did not know this until i went to un-screw them on satday and two of them would not come out, so basicly what i meed is they screwed into the frame and got stuck. so as the idiot i am, i carried on trying to un-screw them and they snapped. so i took everythin off my bike and just took the frme to my grandads but could not do anything with it on saterday because i had no tools to do it with. so i wet back up tonight and drilled them out, one of the mounts is ok but the other one isn't, there are no threads left in it which i wasn't vry happy about. so now i have left it with my grandad and he is going to re-tap it because he is a legend. so hopefully i should be back riding tomorrow. cheers lou.
  24. its so funny when people are always arguing. i saw gaz at mansfield the other week only for like 10 minutes or so but i from what i saw i thought he was an oright lad.
  25. i would have to say no.1 because the wheelbase is 1015mm and i think your bike always feels alot better when is a bit longer and also the bike will feel so much better on the back wheel when having a bottom bracket rise at 60mm, but really you would have to have a go on a bike's with these geo's and find out for yourself which one you like best because its personal prefrence really. you ride what you want to ride and not no-one else. hope i helped. cheers lou.
