  1. yeah i heard about it to. i think its mad as toast, im looking at it now and its mainly red but it looks cool.
  2. not having a go mate just my own opinion
  3. i really dont see the point in you designing a t-shirt for tartybikes. someone has done this before i think it migh of been you and that sucked aswell as this one. it hasn't really got anything to do with tarty on it at all it just says 'trials'. i would to see adam or dave leave a post and see what say to it all. cheers lou.
  4. yeah i had problems getting mine off but then again so does everyone due to when riding they just tighten up so much and are really hard to get off. when i got my try-all freewheel at christmas it ment me getting my acs claws off and it was really hard, but all i did was put crank arm in a vice and just hit it as hard as i could with a hammer and chisel and eventually it just spun off. also i have recently got some echo cnc cranks so this ment me getting my try-all freewheel off this time but with this freewheel you get a tool with it so it was fairly easy and i didn't damage it like i did the acs. cheers lou.
  5. you sado!! anyway you can it from your local buliders murchants, its not very dear but you can it in one big keg and it last you ages. cheers lou.
  6. Edit: sorry, my mate stupidly put that I can do 9 but I can only do 4, sorry. i was going to say '9 pallets' that is alot. i dont no any-one who back wheel that many. i can just manage to back wheel 5 pallets and i am happy with that, especially considering that i have only been riding 6 months. i am running maxxis creepy crawlers and i think they are mint, they are good for the money and also very long lasting. if i was you i wouldn't go for the try-all tyres, my mate had a rear one and it was good dont get me wrong, but it wore down so fast. he has now gone back to maxxis creepy crawlers. hope i have helped. cheers lou.
  7. if you can it for that much then yeah i would go for it, atleast you know that if your bike gets stolen then your covered and get another bike quite easily. i keep all my bikes in my house and they are all insured on the house insurance but only up to £500. i only have to bikes but both of them are worth around that much so i know that if anything happened to them i would just get straight on the phone to the insurance and i would be okay. so basicly i think that it is well worth getting insured. cheers lou.
  8. i have got them on my hands to and they do hurt alot but you just have to take it like a man. when i first bought my t-pro i had the grips on for 6 months and they was battering my hands but last week i bought myself sum foam grips and since then my hands have been fine. also with these grips you dont need to where gloves which helps alot i think. eventually though the pain will just go away and you will okay. cheers lou.
  9. i think they are something like 73mm cup sizes. if you are going to get a new bottom bracket i would get a truvativ giga pipe. they are amazing for the money and will last you ages. i know that tartybikes ar selling them at £35 which i think is a bargain, but its up to you what you get really. cheers lou.
  10. onza t-pro's are great starting bikes and i think would be okay for you but i am only 6ft and when i got mine in august last year the standars bars and stem gave really bad back problems and caused me not been able to ride for a week or so. So what i did was purchased a set of zoo riser bars and a try-all stem(31.8) and my back has been fine ever since, but because you are so tall it could to the same thing to you but maybe worse so therefore i would probably reccommend you getting a stock bike. i think a onza t-rex or a onza t-raptor would be a great stock bike to start on, but as you said you need to try out a few different bikes and see what you like best. hope i have helped you. cheers lou.
  11. hello mate, i used to go dirt jumping all the time with a couple of friends but two lads who i new from a while ago was in my home town on there trials bikes. i didn't no what the hell they was at first because i had never seen one before but i stopped and watched them for a while. they wasn't that good at the time but it inspired me to get a trials bike. so i made friends with these lads and just kept on going ou with them untill i saved a bit of money to get a trials bike. one of the lads was on a onza t-pro and the other was on a koxx xtp long. i ended up getting a brand new onza t-pro from tartybikes in august last year, so as you might now know i have been riding just over 6 months. i am a pritty good rider i think to say how long i have been riding, but i am enjoying the world of trials, i think its mint. cheers lou.
  12. last week i snapped my bottom bracket. it was a onza one though so as you probably know there not that good and dont las very long. i snapped it doing a drop, it was only about 5ft high i would say. a few days before it started to creek so i new it was going to snap eventually. when you do snap it though it feels so smooth on landing, i no that might sound a bit daft but it does. i wasn't really bothered about snapping it though because i had some echo cnc cranks at home waiting to be put on when i got a isis bottom bracket so therefore i got a isis bottom bracket a couple of days later. i got the truvatic giga pipe with a 128mm axle because i am running front freewheel and it is mint, its very strong and amazing for the money. i got it off of tartybikes and i am very happy with it. cheers lou.
  13. i am running 18 tooth freewheel at the front and a 12 tooth fixed sprocket at the rear. in my opinon i think this is the best gear ratio for a mod. all my mates are running this also on there mod's. if you were to change to this ratio you would certainly feel the benifits. hope i have helped you. cheers lou.
  14. does anyone no the geo of a zona zip, wheel base and how they ride? cheers lou
  15. you have to turn it anti-clockwise mate. when i had to take my acs claw freewheel off it was very hard but i did it in the end. all i did was take my crank arm off and put it in a vice then i got a big chisel and hammer and just hit it as hard as i could in the slots and eventually it just spun off. if you stick to this method you will get it off no problem. hope i have helped! cheers lou.
  16. try-all all the way mate. iv had mine now since christmas and its been amazing, never skipped once. these freewheels are by far the best for the money, you will be very happy with one and it will never let you down. also with the lockring been on the other side you will not have to be tightening it up every five minutes like i had to with my acs. hope i have helped you mate! cheers lou.
  17. for that amount of money you could have my DMR SIDEKICK. plus that is a saresen and they are poo. look on ebay for my dmr.
  18. mate that is a mint bke. it will be even better though when you get a new back wheel. im going to get a python frame in the future they look mint! cheers lou.
  19. it couldn't have got any worse for you reinold. i feel for you mate.
  20. unluky reinold. i thought you would of known which station you was at. never mind you'll know for next time.
  21. some people make me laugh. if you know that your not allowed to post things like this then why do it?
  22. me and a few others are going sometime next week but not on sunday. sorry bud. chees lou.
  23. its been raining here to and iv been in all day, but iv not been bored because i went down town and bought some caustic soda and stripped my levers and bars to silver. they look mint. i tried to do the maggy mounts but it wouldn't work but i dont mind about them. you should try it if you want anything on your bike to be silver. cheers lou.
  24. you cant say anything you 14stone fat s**t. only joking mate. and yeah my cranks are here and my bottom bracket should be here tomorrow which is isis by the way. the onza ones are rubbish never get one.
