  2. i have the same problem as bruce ,but i have a zoo! pitbull 06 and i have a 47mm rim ,tensiles urban legend 165mm and a echo 128mm bb and i only just get enough clearance (credit card spacing between pad and rim) ,and i hav like 2.5mm of pad material from the original 7mm or so what are my options ?because i spend a fortune on pads are longer bb availiable and are they suitable for trials?? steve
  3. i don't reccommend using a chain whip ,i was trying to remove the cog from my hub and the chain snapped when i was pulling hard and i ended up punching myself in the jaw :$ your best bit will be to get a old bmx chain and wrap in around the cog then clamp it in a vice ,then get a bar on the crank arm and pull till it loosens the cog . good luck steve
  4. it wasn't on last year but it is this year ,i had a flyer come with my order from chainreactioncycles . the website address is www.nationalbikeshow.com . steve

  8. as far as i know the reason why stocks usually have longer cranks is because they offer more leverage which makes hopping and stuff easyer . if im wrong sorry. oww yeah ,i run 165mm tensiles on my pitbull steve
  9. i strongly reccommend the 07 controls , light strong (as far as i know ) and cheap . steve
  10. i run a 20t bashring ring (95cm) on my crankset and i have a 18t free wheel . the reason for this is because the bash rings are uci style and there not meant to be hit by stuff so there designed to be more minimal and more lightwieght than a standard bashring e.g 74kingz . so with a larger bashring if i landed hard on it theres less chance i'll damage the freewheel ,because of the greater clearance between the freewheel/chain and the outside of the bashring. hope i made sence steve
  11. what chains have you broke mate?in my experiance chains tend to break when the chainline isn't right or there simply not strong enough . i've been running a khe collapse chain for 6 months without a single snap ,so i highly recommend it steve
  12. i've been called a despicable little child ,and a loser because my bmx doesn'y have a saddle got to feel sorry for some people don't you? steve

  16. i am in the same boat as alext ,i think that stocks aren't quite right for me so im may be goin to build up a 24 trials bike and try that steve
  17. i am running a dmr revolver with a try-all freewheel ,and it feels lush steve
  18. i've been waiting about 10 months for halfords to get a bb in for me ,luckily i haven't paid them and i don't think i'll have it if it comes . i usually shop with tarty ,but if they haven't got what im looking for i just buy from whoever has what i want. steve
  19. i had the same problem mate i solved it by doing this .... i take the crank off the bicycle, put it in a work bench and tighten the bench so that the crank lays flat and doesn't move. then i put the removal tool on the freewheel and put the appropiate spanner on that ,then i get a long tube of metal and place it over the spanner. the i put my weight onto the spanner and removal tool so its kinda pinned down into the freewheel whilst a buddy slowly pulls on the end of the metal bar untill the freewheel starts to unwind . then hav a cup of coffee and admire the freewheeless crank you now have . the end. sorry if you don't understand ,i find explaining things hard . steve
  20. i use a rohloff and its the best i've used, its like using a rear mech but its lighter ,stronger ,better looking and nore out of the way you won't regret buying one once you've used it . steve
