What Do You Like Most About Trials?
steve@banbury-trials replied to Ash-Kennard's topic in Trials Chat
the best thing about trials for me is when i nail something that has taken ages for me to do ,for example i nailed a abubica x-up last night and i was so chuffed also it the freedom trials has compared to say dirt jumping or down hill,by this i mean trials can be done anywhere god i love trials -
most trials bike wheels have 32 spokes on the front and 36 spokes on the rear (which is a good combination of strength and weight ) ,also the wheels are laced into different patterns with 4 or 3 cross being used on the rear wheel most commonly ; by saying cross i'm referring to how many time spoke cross other each over . the main key points of 20 wheels are . . . they lose speed quicker don't ride as easy as 26 over rough terrain stronger wheels pain in the bum to ride over a great distance the main key points of 26 wheels are . . . keep their speed better role faster (greater speed which is good when being chased by chavs ) weaker wheels role over rougher stuff easyer hope this makes sense, sorry if i doesn't i'm not to amazing at explaining . steve

i really like my fluecent green rims because the way they stand out from the crowd and my new tire (maxxis high roller slow reezaay ) i don't like how much my bike seems to attract mud and how it attracts chavs who always seem to want to pinch it steve

i'd go for a ready built then upgrade as you go,you then get to carry on riding without having to wait to save up for all your part what bike are you thinking of building or buying?stock or mod?

How Much Should I Pump Up My Tyres
steve@banbury-trials replied to Zoo_rider_01's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
the reason why the tires seem flat is because there at really low pressures so we get more grip as for the pressure for your tires i cant give you an exact number because it depends on loads of factor like your weight , rim width ,tyre size and what type of trials you ride .i would experiment whilst riding ,you'll soon get the right pressure .good luck, steve -
