    I have a big betty on a try-all rim and i have a echo pure frame, it rubbed bad so i cut all the side knobbles off and it fits fine now.

    I love the big betty!! the grip is the same as a maxxis super tacky as far as i can tell and ive had two pinches but they were both harsh landings that i dont think any tyre would have stopped , its a big tyre thou!!

    the dmr tensioner ain't to bad but you have to adjust it every few weeks cause it loses tension. its probably worth spending £20 more to get a rohloff

    Me , Matt and Reece will be riding there again this Saturday we are getting there for 10, if anyone wants to join us it will be cool.

    I dont know if its duel ply but it has good puncture resistance and a lot of people use it if they are trying to save weight , ive had mine for about 3 months and wouldnt change it now.

    the pure's great , didn't notice that much difference between it and the t-rex thou accept the weight of this bike with the different components is lots lighter which is cool!

    cheers , but i don't really like the green that much im gonna replace the rim eventually with a black one.

    for rocks i'd say st oyseth but clacton has street and rocks so depends what you want , they are only 4 miles apart anyway so if you get bored you can go clacton to.

    st oyseth its right near clacton so about 40 mins away from witham , loads of rocks there thou its great.

    the bit at the bottom of the steerer tube is called a crown race i think.

    mines just over 10 kg but that on a bathroom scale so might not be that accurate but on the bike weight calculator it came to around the same weight.
