If I'm riding on rocks my biggest worry is when i have to jump of my bike if i lose balance cause with rocks you never know what your jumping back on to , like it could be a gap in rocks and your leg goes down it , or just a jagged rock.

I don't like riding alone its just not the same to me and i think its a bit more dangerous, like if you were to fall off knocking yourself unconscious and your in the middle of a field on some rocks theres know one to phone a ambulance , or if your in town at night your more likely to get started on if your by yourself. But if i had to i would ride by myself and i have done on occasion.

I hope that more frames start to have horizontal dropouts but with 135mm hub spacing , like the new mbk and i think the koxxboxx is like that to. it would be cool to be able to have no mech or tensioner.
