  3. Yeah cheers for the speedy reply this morning, thats damn fine service. I love the feel of these pedals but just wondered if im better spending the extra cash for the rockman ones or am i just unlucky and i should just buy another pair of echos?
  4. Not at all, there is the usual scrapes to the cages of the pedal but nothing major, the actual body of the pedal has hardly got a mark on it. Back to the old faithfull dmr`s for now.
  5. Just wondered if this is a common problem with theses pedals and is it worth while spending the extra for say the rockman ones or tryalls?
  6. i used it on my chain stays and the handlebars on my road bike and a wee bit on my helmet.
  7. they should have a wee like button like face book on the forum.
  8. Yup come to Glasgow if you enjoy heroin, cider, knife fighting, shouting at guys wearing leggings and riding loads more spots than Edinburgh has to offer.
  9. Bit of Ben Travis to get you up and goin with your breakfast.
  10. Ill be about in Glasgow for the next 2 weeks as im off work.
  11. I run my yaabaa 1499 with a trialtech sport forged stem and viz pro 700 riser bars With a 5mm stem stacker and it feels amazing, to start with i had to run my bars quite far back because i went from a short frame, but on my mates advice got them shifted forward no feels 10 times better on the back wheel. Ps, i have an old pair of echo forks which are a bit longer than most on the market these days which brings my front end up a little higher hence only one 5mm stem stacker.
  12. dish explanation. How much space do you have on the side thats not rubbing?
  13. i would check out the londonfgss classifieds pick yourself up something second hand.
  14. I would imagine that the amount of clamping area around the cam itself would be more than enough to hold it on big pedal moves. Looks much better than i ever thought it would dude. Ill get the cams polished up for you if you like when you get it.
  15. That was a beast of vid dude would of prolly left the ruins stuff out though, did we no get that massive side hop on camera? Need to get back to Cambu get more filming done Ive still got the photos to go up.
  16. Chain looks slack as a wizards sleeve get a Trialtech Z610 HX, 3/32 and a sprung chain tensioner or old short road mech.
  17. They are grippy as hell with the right shoe, when i first got them i always used to ride in nike 6.0 skate shoes but they were slippery as hell on them so moved to a softer vans skate shoe and the are now awesome.
  18. lets all boycott speed race, hmmmm NO CHANCE have you seen the new solo prototype there stuff is lush, well all apart from that bash, that wouldn't make it within 2 foot of my bike.

If its only 4 mile each way just buy a fixie or a single speed like a charge or something of that ilk and spend the cash on a nice helmet and other riding gear for your good bike, its what Ive done.
  23. I went half arsed and just ground one side leaving the other smooth still works a beast, no modulation at all mind you but who needs that.
