That was one of those things you should of really asked on the forum before getting the drill out, I may be wrong but the booster mainly helps to stop the actual bolts on the mount flexing, so in theory there still gonna flex and put strain on the holes you have tapped.

oft thats the first time ive seen this , well first of all thanks to Ross for putting ot together but there is really no one who wants to watch a fat f**k ride a nice curtis badly i know i cringed when i seen my riding go public but at the end of the day it may not be trials but it was a fun mess about on my bike im not pushing it on anyone to watch. At the end of the day we all ride a bike for enjoyment no matter how shite we are at it.

26 simply for the fact i can run mavic 721/521s and run a v brake up front.

I found that when i had my bars tilted quite far forward it felt good on the back wheel but i struggled with bunny hops and manuals, so i tilted them back for a more streety feel and haven't looked back since.

I am currently running a front and rear v-setup with a XTR booster on the rear. It would appear that every man and there dog is after a salsa carbon booster or an XTR so it would seem there is a market for a new skool one. wink wink trialtech please make a carbon v booster, Id buy one for both bikes, I wonder how many other folk would buy one?

I`m going through the same pain with my Curtis at the minute, have a drawer full of stems and bars. Still cant make up my mind longer stem so its better on the back wheel or shorter stem so it bunny hops and spins like a hurricane, i change my mind every day. Iv loved the inspireds with a high front end and 90mm stem with risers tilted back to give it a streetier feel, personal choice.
