So how did you poke the end of the hose through the holes? Usually they have a small internal tube that means you slide the hose in and it comes out the other side easy. Looks sweet.

Yeah. Take it apart and fill the ratchet/pawl mechanism with JB Weld/Superglue/Weld and away you go. You just need something to stop the pawls retracting, could weld the pawls in place.
Well no, the lower the durometer the stickier. Par ejemplo: Maxxis tyres: Standard, non-labelled = 70a MaxxPro = 60a Super Tacky = 42a Slow Reezay = 40a (from what i remember!) andthe slow reezays are the stickiest of the lot.
