  1. Yea, mine too, i just left it to go crusty, sort it out tomorrow! I should have done more riding to keep warm...ive got a cold now.
  2. Yea, had it for a year or so, normally just use it on the mtb. I don't do anything big enough on the onza to need it

    Pallet Isues

I had no-where to put pallets in my garden either, without making it untidy. So try and find somewhere close to your house eg. wasteland to make sections with pallets. I luckily have BurgerMing across the street from me and they always have lots of pallets outside for collection which they dont mind you riding.
  4. I've got a white 661 dirt lid, they are very light, just picked it up there now to see. I can't imagine the try-all one being any lighter...even the 661 carbon fibre one isn't any different to the normal one to be honest. It was £25 as well.
  5. Previous bikes: Some Raliegh thing. Another Raleigh thing. Ruption bmx Shogun xc bike - pimped with marzocchi, shimano etc. Trek sport Marin B17 dh Current bikes: 24seven V4 Onza t-poo
  6. I agree, i love the Bike Mania games. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes quite addictive.
  7. I have the Echo 4 bolt booster. It is good, had no problems with it. So if it's similer to the 2 bolt version, then i would go for it and save yourself some cash.
  8. I have an '06 Onza T-poo, and have been upgrading it, as most of the stock componants weren't great. Now the cranks, bb and freewheel are a bit knackered. I was thinking of getting Monty cranks and a Tensile freewheel. Does anyone here ride this combination, or have any views on these parts. Any feedback would be great, thanks.
  9. Yes a grind is worth it. I used to use tar as well, but the grind makes your breaking much better. My first pads wore away quickly, but only because they were not designed for a grind. Get a grind and also make sure and get some new pads, such as the ones people have already mentiond.
  10. I'm ashamed to say, but i normally wear a pair of velcro Kappa shoes, £17 from TK Maxx!
  11. I would sometimes listen to music when riding my mtb as it gets me motivated, but it only puts me off when i ride the trials bike. I tried it once and it was so off-putting i couldn't ride anything or concentrate, but i normally ride with other people anyway, so there is no need for music.
  12. Currently I am running Gusset b*****d grips, they are not too bad, they grip well and are reasonably comfortable. They are quite similar to the try-all grips, but once water gets at them they start to twist, thats why you need lock-ons. On my MTB I run ODI Ruffian lock-on grips. I personally think they are the best grips out there. Really soft compound so they grip and feel so good. Not sure how they would feel on the trials bike though, as they are much thicker.
  13. Lack of fitness. Im new to trials and it is quite different to ordinary mtb in terms of fitness and strengh. So when i get tired i can't keep my balence as well as normal, which is quite annoying when riding rocks etc. Rear brake not up to standard at the minute, it's time for new pads. But in the mean time i'm not as confident as i normaly would be when doing larger gaps. So that needs sorting out! Winter weather...the rain is getting at me these days. I'd generally ride if its wet out, but not when it's tipping it down, which it is doing a lot of now! You make plans with friends to go out at the weekend or whatever, but when the day comes its heavy rain...Typical! Also what 'abe' said, forgetting things. Getting into town and forgetting something important, eg. gloves, as my hands sweat real bad, so i can't ride without them!
  14. I got a pair of Fox xc gloves from bikedock for £10, bargain. They have lasted a surprisingly long time and kept their origonal shape too, but i much prefer the Hebo gloves, and will get a pair when the fox ones die. They are more expensive, but they are worth it.
  15. Think i might just be getting the monty forks, as they only cost £60, and i like the feel of them too because my friend has them on his 221pr.
  16. Needing new forks for my onza t-pro. I was going to maybe get the monty 221 pr forks, would you recommend them and would they definatly fit my bike. Also, what headset would fit an onza t-pro? I got the 'cane creek sealed internal' one from tarty, and they said it would fit all new onzas with the internal headset and 'onza' cnc'd on the headtube, but it was too long.
  17. Yes just rub it on, don't put on to much though, as it makes the pads stick to the rims even after you have released the brake lever, and can cause some nasty falls. I used to use tar, but i tend to stay away from it now. To be honest you're just better getting the rim grinded, it is much better.
