Okay I have an issue, which I have posted in small questions but JT has handily pointed out the existance of this tread: I have bought my mother an ex-office PC and it will turn itself on every week day at 8am. Any idea how to get it to stop? I have looked in the task manager and can not see any current tasks, as that was my only idea I am stumped. Tried google some people mentioned BIOS but that is scary and as the instructions were so vague, literally go change it in BIOS, I am not risking generally going in and poking stuff to see if it works (done that before was not a great success...)

I know it is actually correct to have the other arm showing behind her back but my first thoughts were "Why the wierd lumpy back?" However it might just be obvious to everyone else that it is an arm. Love the Space Invaders one. Although would have some shots coming up as well as going down.

I have had what you may consider a scary encounter and my brother saw the same thing although at a different time, weird shape in a mirror in my grandmas old house. Not sure how you explain it because it was definatly not reflecting anything that was there, but I am sure there will be something logical I haven't thought of. I am not saying ghosts don't freak me out, but then I am freaked out by windows at night times, shadows, zombies, monsters hiding under the bed, the little boy from identy....the list goes on!

My friend used to be able to see ghosts. Of course the first time she mentioned this fact she was mocked for a good few months as she was clearly a crazy women, or just attention seeking. However we went to a pub once and we were all making towards this nice empty table and she stopped us, saying some one was sitting there and we should go somewhere else. Of course the table was empty, but she describe the bloke she could see sat there apparently according to a landlord she perfectly described a regular that had past away a few months before. After that she wasn't invited roundto many peoples house incase she saw anything. To be honest I think it was a lucky guess as most pub regulars do look pretty similar!

Um get a better job and they you will get sick pay! I have decided to go for the Xbox 360, going to have to order it tomorrow though because they will only post to the billing address and that would mean it ending up a couple of hundred miles away so getting Prawn to buy it. Okay a new cable has been mentioned!!! Do I need that cable Danny is going to buy? I was going to get HDMI cable anyway but this other one i have no idea what it does!

It really depends what you want; If you want a genuine guy sitting there telling you tips on survival, going through some cool survival stories, one who knows those situations are dangerous so will not put himself in them, one that says look here is my camera crew and these are our tents. Then Ray is by far supeior. If you want an arse who just tries to show off but instead makes himself look like a complete tit. Then you are going to want "bear".

Okay I want to be a gangster. Thing is I have; 1)Not pre-ordered in any way shape or form. 2)Not actually got a console for it to play on. So what I need to know is when am I likely to get the game, will it be like other hyped up games where actually I can just walk into the shop on the day of release and pick it up or am I going to be waiting a couple of weeks? Xbox or PS3? More importantly the £300 PS3 deal of play.com someone mentioned that is the 40GB one apparently from the most unreliable computer source ever (Prawn) the bigger memory ones do other things that are cool. So is that really a good deal or am I selling myself short? Money isn't an issue as I have just found out I have been paying for NTL in a house I moved out of 9 months ago and did cancel at the time they said they will refund me! Whoop!

You do realise a lot of people that play that game are perfectly normal human beings that can type. Not that I have ever played it :$ not ever, no really. Okay just occasionally when I have no Prawn to keep me occupied.

Those are not explosions they are just the dust of the buckling effect in the main supports, it happens in all collapses of that nature apparently. Was explained to us by our structures lecturer last year.

I have recently set up a new computer (thanks to the wonderful Bigman) as the ticking noise from my laptop was it melting. However my keyboard has the @ and " the wrong way round. The pictures are in the right place but you get the wrong one when you press them. I can remember at school them switching them so you "couldn't" use email. Is there anyway I can swap them back as it is driving me insane? Please not the keyboard was not supplied by Bigman, it is from the NHS.

I have had my laptop for about 2 years now and it was bought second hand, although the previous user hardly ever used it. It is a HP Compaq nc8000, and I know very little about the spec or how to find out what it is (very much a computer illiterate :$). Recently the fan is making a horrific noise. It was always quite loud but it sounded like a normal fan, now it sounds like there is a small tractor in my laptop and it also makes occasional clicking noises. It does go back to normal occasionally but it is mainly this awful noise. Any idea what could have caused this change and any ideas how I might be able to fix it or is my laptop about to explode and I may need a new one?

you sir, are either lying, or have lame fingers! ANY frame WILL flex without a booster! and the control is one of the stiffest ive found without a booster so far. certainly less so than the 07 czar i rode. looks nice ad. looking forward to a ride!
