  2. alright mate, the problem might be that your bb shell is not faced so the paint is uneven this would make your externall bb sit cok eyed in the threads putting strain on the bearing which wud explain the tightness. cheers tim
  3. definatly hot chocolate pudding with vanilla ice cream. mmmmmmmmmm........ sounds like an M&S advert, this is not just normal chocolate pudding this is M&S hot sticky chocolate pudding:P tim
  4. hi, ye i think the avid juicy range are all awsome brakes. i have used the juicy 5's and 7's on downhill bikes and the stopping power is just immense from such a small and simple brake. i would say go for it tim

  6. hi, my mate used have this problem alot, most of the time its just because your cable full of grit and dirt. either buy a new cable or take your cable out of your outer cable and give it a good clean and lube both the outer and the inner.if this fails then check you havnt got any sharp turns in the cable mounting to the disc, any sharp turns just increase friction which would explain why the lever gets stuck. tim
  7. hi, i got mine from the local petrol station. i think it was £3 for 500ml of either dot4 or dot 5.1 i thought that was quite a good price. when i used to have my hope i ran dot5.1 with motorbike oil it had a higher boiling point and the lever felt alot firmer it was really good. tim
  8. hey sam, tryed both and i prefer the bb7. so i would go for the bb7, its cheaper and more powerful that the hope its easier to maintain aswell(Y) as for rotor sizes i would go for the 160, 180 isnt necesary on a mod, plus its easy to upgrade to a bigger rotor at another time aswell. bb7 gets my vote(Y) cheers tim
  9. hi guys, edit to earlier post mine just dies today. mega load bang then about 20 engaments:( now it eno time!! cheers tim
  10. hey, i have had a try-all freewheel for about 6 months and so far its been faultless. never skips, never comes loose and best of all its got loads of engagments which you dont realise how good they are untill you have all of them!! cheers tim
  11. hey everyone, i have got a avid bb5 on a 160 rotor with a standard lever and its really good. i changed from a hope mono mini and i definatly prefer it. plenty of lock and hold. on a 185mm rotor i would imagine it would be awsome. definatly recomend it, get one!! cheers tim
  12. alright guys n girls, sumtimes when this happens its just because your rotor bolts arnt equally tightened up. so before you go and twat your disc take it off then tighten the bolts up opposite sides and with equal pressure, (reccomend a torque wrench ). this helps because sometimes it may tweak the rotor on the hub. cheers tim
  13. Alright guys, the biggest drop i ever did was 6ft the other day it was pretty scarey haha but it was on pallets so its was a bit rocky so it was a bit rocky which didnt help lol. can not really see the point in dropping off mega huge stuff though to be honest, not really a skill if you ask me. cheers tim

  15. yeah i would invest in some carbon patches or use some of though glueless puncture kits because there see threw. they are cheap aswell:) cheers tim
  16. alright mate, if you have got a hope mono mini then i would definatly reccomend getting some kool-stop pads they make your brake sooooooooo much better its unreal! another thing would be would get a slighty bigger rotor for example if you have got a 160 rotor get a 180 dont go too big thow otherwise you mite smash it wen you do side hops etc. hope i've helped tim
  17. alright, i've got a zhi zm2 i luv it, its great. cheers tim
  18. alright, i use bontrager lock ons (big earl) there are really good, i have tried using foams but i didnt get on with them and i ended up ripping them when i fell off and hit them on a rock. the other good thing about lock on is they are nice and easy to get on and off(Y) tim
  19. alright mate i had the same problem! all youve got to to is get some WD40 with the nozzle on and squirt it down in between the bar and the grip then twist it to lube it it shud just then come off. if that doesnt work heat it up a little bit with a hair drier. tim
  20. nice video you got there mate! ace ridin. tim
  21. a hs33 if a type of brake made by magura. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=282 it is a rim brake and it is hydraulic (not operated by cables) i would say its the most popular brake on the trials scene. they work best with a new set of pads from www.tartybikes.co.uk or simular. hope i have helped tim
  22. hi, i use front hope and rear hs33. its upto you though on what you get depending on budget and what feels right for you. tim
