sounds like you have contaminated your disc and/or your pads. my hope did that so i bought some new pads and cleaned up the rotor with white spirits and now its all good. i still think hopes are shit though lol. but thats another story. avid all the way. cheers tim

in my opinion hope brakes are rubbish. you get the odd ones which are great no maintinance and really powerfull. but most of them arnt. to be honest your better off staying away from hole brakes. i know what you mean about mechanical disks they just dont feel right. so, i would recomend the avid juicy 7. it is uber powerful, light, easy to set up, reliable and it has a tpa for setting up the leaver to your preference. heres a link: Juicy 7 cheers tim

i used to get arm pump and still do sometimes. but i have tried differnt thing to stop it. things like: thinner grips try different angles of your brake levers try different amounts of reach on your brake levers give them a go! tim

Use a paint stripper heat gun jobby to get the sticker off then do the below to get the glue off if white spirits not strong enough get a bit of petrol on it tim
