Hi lads and ladys. I have an A1 and the hope 110 10 degree rise stem (in gold which i love). I'm 6ft and think my stem is a bit to low. I have read the tarty websit and neil tunny uses the z00 stem which is simmilar to mine in size terms. He is tall and he does some awsome stuff as you all know. What should I be doing stem wise?

Guy if your giving advice make sure you know what your on about. People are not made of money. If that person was to go out/stay in and some tesile offsets that would be a waste of money cos you told him. tensile offsets provide yuo with an oppurtunity to have a wider rim not a thinner rim, the normal mount can accommodate that. Mate your not looking at the pictures. It wouldnt matter what offset the clamps had. Its the slaves that the crank arms are potentialy hitting. How can he get the slaves closer to the rim? He could get a thinner rim or a longer bb or crank arms which miss the slaves on the osscilating stroke! Someone said about Q factor, I thought that was about damping and underdamping in relation to movement as confirmed by Newtons laws of motion. Correct me if im wrong

Man i had a simmilar incident on new years day. keep looking for your bike but whatever you do get a new bike that is twice as good as the last one and keep it real safe, I mean real safe. dont let them get away with it, dont let it depress you. your car insurance should cough up though. give it a try

My way to bleed brakes is to undo the system at the lever end and thread in a pice of maggi tubing, it will screw right in no pobs. Put the other end in a bucket of water and then undo the sytem at slave end then place your finger over the end of the pipe thats submerged in the bucket of water and press lever (if you have oil in your brakes you will wanna thread some pipe in slave end and feed this into a bottle as you will have oil on your rim with this method) keep lever pressed in and release finger release lever and then repeat finger on press lever, until you have passed loads of water through your system. keep the pipe in the lever and under water in bucket end then close sytem at slave end then (assuming you have you bike in an upright position with lever higher than slave) close sytem at lever end. You will have some of the best bleed brakes in town and a lot easier, quiker and better that taking off all you maggies and putting them in the bath.
