  2. New - Just heard that the water will evapourate too... then it will get dirty etc Sticking to oil Thanks...
  3. Weight lifting Also some other stuff, i go running, swimming, and stuff to help my legs like weights again (for sidehops). Been doing more GYM since winter months make riding harder and more depressing.
  4. Alright I've noticed some topics with guides in how to go about bleeding Magura hs33 brakes. Although i'm more experienced with disk brakes, i had a thought on the 'bleeding hs33's with water subject'. As some of the inside of the magura hs33 brake is metal will this not be prone to rot/rust due to the water? If it was good to use water then why do the professional majority use specific oil? I did think maybe a lot of the brake is aluminium so it will be quite resistant to rust? Please comment as i'm needing to give my brake a bleed and would like to make a good job. Thanks, Josh.
  5. Great riding there, well done! And as already said, the style is quite good. Only thing i'm not to keen on is the music, how it is just repetative, but overall good vid! Cheers, Josh.
  6. My back brake keeps rolling through in the wet/muddy weather I run a smooth rim with echo pinks, although i would much rather run a disk on rear in winter but my ashton doesn't have a calliper lugg on the frame. Also, i don't grind my rim because i think it weakens the rim and eats the pads to much for me to afford. Cheers, Josh.

really good video there mate some huge moves and the editing wasn't to bad either, i thought the song went well with the riding too keep up the good work cheers josh
  8. Haha ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Anyway how exactly did you manage to get your leg in that mess ie. what move/line where you trying etc? Cheers Josh.
  9. Finally got round to watching the video, and i have to say i really enjoyed it! Well worth the wait. Some really good riding there and the editing wasn't to bad either. Look forward to another video in the near future. Josh.
  10. Sorry it's sorted now i've found out what was wrong, doh! Correct link
  11. Some quality photos there Also looks like a good riding spot. Keep up the good work Josh.
  12. Link doesn't work for me. Could someone please give me a working link? Cheers, Josh.
  13. Bikes looking awesome brett! Only thing i would change that has been mentioned previously is the bars, maybe silver Other than that it's super nice! Cheers, Josh.
  14. Hey I'm interested, do you have a link to a site? Thanks, Josh.
  15. Alright, No i don't think you can; a front freewheel screws onto a rounded thread, whereas with your crank, the front chain ring is attached via 4-5 bolts. My advice would be invest in some cranks that can run a front freewheel... or invest in a rear free hub. Cheers, Josh.
  16. Thank you for the comments so far everyone, much appreciated! Cheers, Josh.
  17. Here's my mates new video; it's been posted in NMC as he is not a full member, so i said i'd post it up here for him. It's his first video on 26". He's 17, he's been riding for about 3 years, but only been riding 26" 7 months. Comments/constructive criticism much appreciated! Thanks, Josh.
  18. Just what he says. It is ok to use flash in some cases, but just like Simon said, it's 100x easier with html. I personally, would recommend you don't use it on your site though. Click here for an example of a navigation button made using simple html/css. Please PM me if you'd like the code or/and an explanation Cheers, Josh.
  19. I agree; it seems you get a lot for your money. Josh.
  20. Usually ride about twice a week; but got a broken arm at the minute so haven't been riding in about 5 weeks. Josh.
  21. Alright there I've tried loads of places and can't seem to find anywhere that sells them anymore. For the moment i've just stuck some old innertube on my downtube, it's suprisingly effective. If I find out anywhere that does sell them then i'll inform you right away. Cheers, Josh.
  22. Hadouken! Well one of their songs: "That boy that girl" Josh.
  23. Or... If you have gears, then I suggest you have it so the rear mech arm is pointing in towards the front chainring at about 45 degrees from the chainstay. That should be nice and tight, make sure it's not too tight though as it could effect how quickly the casset/chain wears down and how the gears change etc. Cheers, Josh.
