The easiest way to solve this is by putting an M10 washer on the end of the hub axle, to space the hub and rotor away from the disc mount, then just space the caliper correctly with shims. Done it several times.

YOU LIE! Rubber queens are the best tyre ever! It's the carbon nano particles, they stick like glue. I've heard the Rain Kings are amazing, I'd like to try one but unfortunately they cost over £50, which is rediculous for a tyre. Ali, didn't I buy my Rubber Queen from you?

The urbans were years ago? Monty's changed a lot since then. It's a completely new frame, doesn't share a tube with any other Monty. Aluminium frame tubes are often that thin, I have a T-Pro with a hole in the downtube, and that tubings about the same thickness.

My dad gets some cycling stuff from a compnay called All Sports. Is their protien stuff any good? The aerobic stuff is the dogs bollocks, if I have one after going running one day, then the next day I can easily go again if I have time to fit it in. It's called Amino Load, unfortunately it's only 20% protien and 80% carbs.

I've seen it done a few times, it can work, but I doubt you'd save much. I drilled 4mm holes in a Monty TI rim, 168 of them actually, and it saved 18g. From looking at that rim, you could run a rim brake on it. I saved 50g by switching from Tarty Griffles to TrialTech Foam. On my current front rim on my stock, I drilled 256 7mm holes in it, they're really close together, they're huge and it saved 60g. You could never run a rim brake on there though, there's more hole than sidewall left!
