Maybe he can't run a topcap? I had trialtech forks. The steerer was too short for the cap to reach the threads. It's not an added measure at all, they're weak and feeble, and will never hold on if the stem isn't tight.
This thread is based on me saying that Muller Corners are proper sweet and sickly and gay. Apparantly there are not just fruit corners any more, but there are one's with breakfast cerial in and all sorts? Why? They sound gash.
Done it for a good while, no trouble at all. People often say it will allow the headset to loosen because the stem can slip on the steerer, but it doesn't, because the star nut simply isn't strong enough to hold it, it just bends and pulls it up anyway. If this happens then then stem isn't tight enough. I used my headset press to tighten it. Just ran the threaded bar through the steerer with big washers and nuts of both ends.
You end up drinking all the time though, last year we bought enough for 2 of us for 3 months, it was gone by January. (Bought it at about this time). That was 8 crates of 24 bottles, gone in about 7 weeks.
I don't really have any shabby pics, but here are some pimp ones anyway... Gotta link the first one, won't let me embed. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....st&id=18662
Guys have you ever ridden a Simtra? You're recommending bar/stem combos for other frames! 138x25 is too long and too high, I had a 130x30 before and it was nasty, they have a +20bb, 72HA and short stays, this spells fairly low, fairly short stem.
It is best practice to have a ribbon for your hard drives plugged into IDE1, and another for the opticals plugged into IDE2. In reality it makes very little difference, just slightly faster read times if you have your master HD on the plug closest to the IDE1 socket.
IT'S THE 8TH OF DECEMBER!!! Seriously by the 24th I'm going to be so sick of Christmas I'm just going to want to crawl into a hole and die. EDIT: Or more likely, drink myself into a stupor.
