  1. It's a flip flop, not LHD. Means you can have 2 sprockets and just flip the wheel to change the ratio. It's doable! You'd need a set of BMX cranks though I think, and probably a custom sprocket to give you an 18t ring and a bash combined.

Missed that haha, but yeh I've no idea.
  3. Is only one side bash in? I taped the end of a pump into the other end of the bar, taped it up really tight and squeezed it on so it couldn't leak too much, then pumped like mad until it fired it out.
  4. Haha, yeh sorry I only really skim read your first post aswell and jumped on the reply button, I was already in a bit of a bad mood lol. Sorry for getting you mixed up with Ben aswell! I also (L) you very much. (Despite not actually knowing who you were. )
  5. I'm from the North.... I never said you were f**king stupid either, and I don't think that all northern riders are TGS riders, since I know a lot of riders up here and very few are TGS riders! I assumed you were a TGS rider because I thought you were Ben Lazenby? And your post suggested you thought that having a light bike was a stupid thing to do because you couldn't bash it like a TGS rider would. My post came across more aggressive than I meant, I'm sorry. I was simply trying to say that in my opinion, loosing 83 grams off the rear wheel makes a big difference, especially on a Mod as I've done it several times.
  6. Haha! Classic case of TGS rider not having a clue. If the bike is lighter it's easier to ride, you go bigger easier because you can move the bike round more easily and you tire far less quickly because it takes less effort to move it around! Obviously if you're a TGS rider, it'd be a f**king stupid thing to do, but if you're a smooth natty or comp rider, why not? There are only plus points, you don't need the bike to be strong, you need it to be light, so you'd be daft not to! Unless you regularly destroy rims that is.
  7. It ain't bodging you peasant! It's constructive use of existing materials! It's very light, it squashes slightly so it holds onto the inside of the bar, and it's relatively strong whilst still allowing some shock absorbtion when it's needed.
  8. It's perfectly safe as long as you don't extend them more than about an inch either side. Get some wooden dowel that's just too big to go down the bar, sand the end to have a bit of the bevel on the edge, then hammer it down inside about 2-3", then cut off the legnth you want from what is sticking out, wrap tape around it until it os the same width as the bar, fit your grips, then take a permanent pen and colour in the end of the wood so it's black. I ran mine like this for over a year! Never needed any work doing to it.
  9. Love it! Looked a bit of a mess at first but looks like it tidied up ok afterwards!
  10. Having a headset is a good idea yeh. It is more to do with the forks though, I've got Zoos and they're not as stiff as my Trialtechs were, they better be stronger though or I'll be writing to my MP!!!
  11. You also work at a fast food shop, no way can you afford to spend that much on a frame!
  12. Theres going to someones house, having words and ending up having a bit of a shufty, and there's going there with a load of mates, armed with bats and attacking him. You've obviously never hit enyone with a bat, because it's quite easy to kill someone with one, then you're looking at murder. He's scammed out of what £50? £100? Not worth it IMO. I've saved several grand buying second hand bike stuff, this is the risk you take unfortunately. I know it's not fair, but what is?
  13. Nah, strip everything down, check everythings greased right and set it all up properly ideally. Almost no-one bothers though and they seem to do alright, does make it last a lot longer though.
  14. No, new bikes are never built properly! Therefore they can wear out quicker. A classic one is having the cones and locknuts not lamped up tight, and then the bearing destroy themselves within a few rides.
  15. Lol, you basher! Have you gone through more forks than me since July though? I'm on me 3rd set haha.

Anyone watching? I'm watching online, Just saw Martin Brundell in a classic "Get the f**k out the way Sky Sports, I'm from BBC1 biatch!" moment.
  17. If you upload the vid and proove you weren't lying, I for one will vote for you to be made a full member. Can I get a +1 from anyone?
  18. They look more like the Darkness if you ask me!
  19. Thought you rode my Echo Matt? Anality pays off.
  20. Read this http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=142172
  21. Dude, the ride was today, that's why it says Saturday 26th.
  22. My front rim is down to 492g now, it's fairly weak though I'd imagine. Just the rims and but some knobbles from my tyres on mine, nothing else is modded. All stainless bolts as the TI/alu ones are way too expensive.
  23. All you need to do with any new bike at all, is rebuild it all. Sounds anal, but every single time I or any of my mates have had a new bike, something always comes loose and nothing is ever greased. If I were you I'd get a mate to come round who really knows what they're doing and go over the whole bike and regrease and tighten everything that needs it, locktight the BB in etc. It's an effort, but makes everything last longer.
  24. You'd be lucky to save 0.25lbs haha, the whole rim only weighs like 1.5lbs! I used a grinder with a cutting disc, then tidied it up with a grinding disc.
