  1. A dremel with a really little bit on it? like a 3mm bit? They'd be roughly square...
  2. I know a guy who did it, takes forever! I just cut mine out to 25mm with a holesaw, took almost no time at all and looks sweeeeeeet, saved a lot of weight aswell.
  3. Hopefully sorted one now, but cheers man I'll let you know if I need one.
  4. The lever bolt on 05 maggys that is supplied is about 3-4mm too short for the clamp, if you fit a longer one you can get it tight without ever worrying.
  5. Aaaawwww... Unlucky son. I would sell it to you, but I'm actually planning on using it.
  6. It really is the dogs bollocks haha! I've got a brand new, never built ZHI front hub here in fluro green. Cost me £8.50 posted. And just bought a brand new 180mm rockman rotor, brand new Onza Mongo 2 headset, brand new CRMs and a used but very good front hope skewer for £41 including postage. The rotor alone is £30 from Tarty.
  7. Basically as the title, I bought some and suspect they're the new, apparantly bad ones. Anyone know how to tell then apart?
  8. yes you are! You posted it on a forum! What's wrong with the phone? If you have a problem with Tarty, get in touch with Tarty! Don't start bad mouthing them on a forum without even asking them the score first...
  9. You need the pads between 1mm and 2mm away from the rim before you can even test it's working properly really.

That's the first time I've ever heard that said.... My mate had some on an Echo rim, best brake I've ever used, there was no slip at all, you didn't even need to squeeze the lever hard, the bite was instant, and it worked better in the rain than the dry. I've also known several people from on here that swear by them.
  11. Was the RSQ not enough bitching for you? Whats wrong with phoning Tarty? Instead you've come to discuss it on a forum.... Tarty won't have bled it either, it will have been magura bled, so it's not their fault anyway.
  12. Love it Wes! Looks sick, how are you finding it compared to the XS26? (Dunno if you've had another frame since then). Anyway hope you're enjoying it, see you soon mate!
  13. I lives in Derbyshire, about 25 miles south east of Manchester, tis a fair old way from Skipton though!
  14. Can you report back on how this plays out aswell please? I was going to buy his wheel, but now he's in NMC and has no feedback...
  15. Cheers man, I dunno about Shipley, I've never been yet! Yeh he hasn't ridden for ages, but he's getting back into it now. Simtra's riding a bit good too.
  16. His MSN is on his profile?
  17. I just wet myself watching that russian vid, at about 54 secs another guy comes in like, "Yeh I'm gonna kick him too! Oop f**k, he can still move... ABORT!!!!"
  18. Almost 3 years, only actually rode for about 2 of them though, I've had a few long periods of CBA.
  19. The dual ply High Rollers are used a lot I believe.
  20. I gotta see that when it's done Ed! Fancy a oldie bikes run some time when it's done?
  21. When's Mark going to be on the about us page on Tartybikes? Bet he's feeling left out. Blog looks sweet guys! Only one suggestion, thought about using a lightbox for the images?
  22. You must have said about 3 times that you'd go and get everyone's stuff with your own though... Couldn't you go down and get everything then post it for him? How this kid isn't blacklisted by now I don't know, he's clearly useless.
