  1. Tarty probably ship there if that helps? Or are you going on holiday and are hoping to bring some cheap stuff back?
  2. Make sure the rest of the tyre is in the well of the rim, new tyres tend to be a bit tight on the rim anyway so you can put a bit of force behind it.
  3. Just go to your LBS and buy some tyre levers, they are like £1 each.

    Pad Reviews

Pads: Hope Mono Trial Time used: 1 Year, ish. Rim used: Monty TI Grind: No Ceraminc: No Brake used: Disc What is your opinion of a working brake: Loads of bite, loads of hold, works in the rain, doesn't need maintenance. How do they compare to previous pads you have used: About the same really. Review: Best pads under the sun! I jokes, I'm really here to do my brothers Neco Yellows. Pads: Neco Yellow. Time used: 3/4 Months. Rim used: Onza Hog. Grind: Sharp Medium Ceraminc: No Brake used: 07 HS33. What is your opinion of a working brake: Enough bite and hold for a 7 stone 12 year old, don't wear that fast. How do they compare to previous pads you have used: Not as good as my Rock Blues on a heavy grind, but the grind lasted longer before it wore off. Review: Pretty good, they need a fresh sharp grind to get the best out of them, but so far they seem ok, especially for £12 posted.
  5. All this does is give me piece of mind, I shall keep going until I recieve the letter, then move ISPs. Pity we just got connected to tiscali about 5 days ago, and they are one of the 6. Still, they gave me a nice, free, wireless router.

    What Not To Do.

If this gets reposted one more time, children will die.
  7. Only you would read into that! I meant that my bicycle and my crash helmet were so covered in stickers I can't remember what colour they were. I was actually trying to point out, rather sarchastically, that covering everything in stickers is OK for 12 year olds. Now I read it back, it clearly wasn't obvious at all.
  8. Does it matter? I didn't know any of them but I still care that they're dead.
  9. Hope Pro 2s are good, apparantly so are Neons, but I don't know how much they cost.
  10. What about spacing? It would probably have to be a proper "modstock". And also, if you changed the forks, the geo of the frame would be altered quite a lot. Instead of lowering the bb when it's in stock mode, it would raise it, giving you a +40ish mod and a +60ish stock. I'm guessing.
  11. You could just have 6 inch long horizontal dropouts, and two sets of 4 bolt/disc mounts. Just as long as they didn't overlap. I don't think he ever finished it if I remember rightly.
  12. When the pin rips out, try drilling the hole straight through and tapping it bigger, then you get a deeper, wider, stronger thread. Then just stick a bolt through it. You might want to do some filing though, bigger studs can get caught in your shoes easier I find.
  13. Nice idea, how about removable dropouts that you can change, so the 4 bolt mounts can be used for both? That way the chainstays would be legnthened and shortened according to whether it's mod or stock. Mind you, on a stock, the tyre tends to sit closer to the BB than on a mod doesn't it?
  14. My Dad has always told me to stop hopping around like a fairy, don some lycra and get a roadie. That's it though, my Mum never tries to stop me or push me really, but when we take the motorbikes out she always tells me to take it easy and stop falling off.
  15. I really like that, it's really clean and the rims suit it really well. Whats the geo?

    Mod-stock

Do you still have the Echo aswell?
  17. Nope, I just woke up about 10 minutes ago.
  18. Apart from the Boxx has geo that would appeal to a lot of riders, no-one rides a mod that small. It's probably a typo anyway, my brother's T-Lite is 985 and that's absolutely tiny. If the Monty is really 35mm shorter, it would be a bit daft. EDIT: I really should have checked the facts before believing you. It says on the monty site it has the same geo as the 07. Wheelbase: 1010mm Chainstay Length: 363mm BB Rise: 80mm Head Angle: 71.5 degrees Centre of BB shell to top centre of head tube: 600mm (23.6")
  19. I saw pics of a PR version of the Kamel, that had those dire brake mounts of which you speak.
  20. You have destroyed the Mod equivilant of a Koxx Boxx in my opinion. Put it back how it was for the love of god!
  21. Slightly better than the 07, and much better than the 06.
  22. Since October 2006 I've had a T-Pro, Zona Zip, 2006 Echo Lite Short, 2007 Echo Lite Long, and now a 2008 Echo Lite Disc long.
  23. I had DMR V8s, they are so strong. I seem to remember I smashed one of the pins off, and it didn't rip the threads out of the body or anything, it just got bent and mashed. Don't get Wellago MG-1s, I have them now, and they are very light and the grip is great, but they aren't the hardiest pedals in the world.
