  1. Just wondering will a bike handle differently if it has an almost identical bar height yet set up one way it has more spacers but a stem with less rise and the other way it has the reverse of this? I'm just playing about with my set up at the mo and curious, oh and one stems 90 long and 10 deg rise, the other 90 long and 5 deg rise. Anyone able to shed some light? a confused Pete
  2. Damnit! I'm going home friday, you cruel cruel people taunting me like that
  3. Actually there is some benefit in it, Each Car costs roughly 5 million to produce yet sells for less than 1. The main aim was to master the technology to make such a car possible. For example a gearbox that can take 1000 horses is pretty impressive and that technology can filter all the way down to some truck in Africa.
  4. Anything with changable covers is good, My 6230 lasted a good year of serious abuse. Got a D600 now, hope it holds up as well
  5. Changed my mind, just watched sundays show. I want one
  6. We're not arguing its a waste ofmoney cause its a supercar, we're arguing its a waste of a car cause its designed purely to go in a straight line fast. For me the only supercar worth having is the Murchilago
  7. Hope stem? Also theres a Kore stem that sounds about what you're looking for, can't remember what its called but Mike (leedstrials) and the others all ran them when they were in Bangor if that helps lol
  8. I'd rather have an Ariel Atomz personally, To me the Bugatti just seems kind of pointless. It is without a doubt an incredible engineering feat and a gourgeous looking car but also seems a bit of a waste. Surely with that much engineering and development they could have made it into a decent all round supercar as opposed to a pretty much unguided rocket ship.
  9. In all fairness if you think how often you speed, which for most people is at least once on every journey, getting caught once isn't really being robbed
  10. Is there not a colour called ti? could be that possibly maybe
  11. Main problem is they break frames and don't have as positive a feel as a rim brake does. Although some frames can take it like the new leeson, Brisa and megamo equip. Some riders get along with them though
  12. i Think it was just Todge that did it, and his hub shell snapped in half. (Y)
  13. You beat me to it, although i think its more a dislike of toxsin than anything else :S
  14. Colorado and Liverpool, someones getting a duff deal :S
  15. Just the driveshafts to worry about now :- How come you're dropping it so much? is it not going to ruin the handling?
  16. It's still going to hurt, first time policies for young male drivers are huge! although £200 for the first year is veryimpressive. Oh also you wont have a years no claims bonus you will have a years no claims experience which is very different.
  17. Think matt and i are heading somewhere either tomorrow or sunday if you guys are about, you can be mister film man will :)
  18. What he said, Just relax and be confident :ermm: Thats all that matters, you can be a terrible driver but as long as you have some common sense and are confident you should be ok. Although as you said the pass rate is only 43% which is where an element of luck comes into it. Pete
  19. two year old koxx browns for me, just starting to lose the grip. Another set pour moi i reckon. Pete
  20. Thats if the company takes it into consideration. I still can't figure out insurance, for me on an R reg 1.4 polo with 2 years driving, 20 yrs old, one accident with excess recovered and pass plus it came to £1400 fully comp and then on an R reg 106 Rallye it was only £200 more! madness Oh and they're both first time policies as well. Pete
  21. Matt still uses his every now and then, They're on the opposite side to which he sidehops so they don't really get in the way. They're meant for skatepark fun anyways not trials so much. Pete
  22. I didn't think you could, shuffles just annoy me generally really. i like ipods, but i like my Zen micro better (Y)
  23. So they don't have to build a bigger ramp?
