  1. looks a beast mate, v nice
  2. fair comment. modman cheers for the comments, its actually spot on for me @ 6'2" v light an v easy to chuck around, now fitted a freebie 2.4" rear panaracer tyre (had to cut the side knobs for it to fit wivout rubbing the frame), and putting my maxxis high roller on the front, hehe keep the comments coming peeps x
  3. my high roller is torn on the sidewall, so its gaffer tape to the rescue, an my freebie back tyre panaracer 2.4 is so big that i need to atack the outer nobs with a pair of scissors just so it fits my bike, lol
  4. um endo's an front wheel pivots, bunnyhops, etc are basic (not booning)
  5. could be there if its the right day? whats the exact date? ben g WST
  6. lol fair comment m8, it was cheap though an works as well as a hs33, cheers for the comment, ben g WST
  7. i now work for somerset bike centre
  8. same here, i got a piece 2" by 1.5" around, should last a few years atleast
  9. its a shame that monty are getting such a bad reputation, back in the day (12 years ago) monty an megamo were the big (and probably only) makes for trials
  10. both those shops should be able to bleed your brakes for you, and maybe be able to tell you about any local riders
  11. what about some more: zap-tap, sidehop, endo's and front wheel pivots, back wheel pivots, bunnyhops, stalling, etc etc etc
  12. thats a vast improvement, fair play 2 u m8
  13. looks nice m8, good job, hopefully if i come to plym next month i'll finally be able to ride with u. ben g WST
  14. um not 100% sure but possibly 16:14
  15. yep i use a bb5 it works as well as my m8s bb7, i've no complaints an would reccomend them, ben g WST
  16. i could name lots of riders who go big both ways, thats more important after all, i know the advantages, but sum people just find it easier going same foot to same side, so y stop doing summit your better at just because eeryone says its not a "proper" sidehop, a sidehop is a sidehop no matter what way u do it after all.
  17. xactly, well said si-man
  18. echo pinks, smooth rim, rain, no problems after all rain affects more than just braking: pedal slippage, tyre slippage, etc
  19. grinding has got stupid since it 1st started of years ago, then a grind was channels every cm to disperse water. my brakes work in the wet and dust without a grind and work immensely well in the dry aswell. its all a case of following the crowd it seems nowadays (and i know the benefits of a grind thanks ) WST
  20. whats wrong with sidehopping the same side as your lead foot, if it works it works (theres no right or wrong way to sidehop IMO/ what you say is a proper sidehop isn't really true), whats more important is being able to go both ways, an you'll probably alwaays go higher 1 side than the other. just practice both ways, the more you practice the better you'll get.
  21. if smooth rims are shite, then y dont companies just make rims pre-grinded, oh wait i kno its because there not! grinds are fine if your loaded or sponsored but the -ive of a grind outweigh the +ive IMO, smmoth rim an echo pinks ***
