simple if your just doing trials on your bike go singlespeed, but if you have to ride any long distance on it probably stick with gears, i personally prefer singlespeed though, less hassle and all that

the copper cautioned him for criminal damage and then said she was going to give him an ASBO and send a letter to his parents, the police round my way are useless/pointless anyway and it probably won't happen, but still it kinda takes the piss if there going around and saying these things. i don't know what will happen but it's not good!!!

gotta be tar (bitumen) or that monty rim spray if you can afford it. i once remember someone saying to smear coke on your rims (don't know if it workd though), gianttrials

thats valid, but all i'm saying is plyometrics is all well and good but its a form of increasing flexibility and strength to muscles from a non-isolated form. in theory on a bike your isolated to a certain degree. but whatever you do just have fun, because lifes too short. i agree about free weights and mimicking trials movements but thats pretty specialist stuff, and these exercises need to be done under controlled measures. the exercises you mentioned are similar to my own trials training techniques with free-weights. if you've got the knowledge try these things, if you don't get professional help before trying these things, and talk to your local gym/instructors/pt's gianttrials ps bruce lee is a legend

gotta be trials videos and certain music that gets me going (mainly trance/dance), bodyrox latest song especially gets me in the mood for riding, and seeing my mate do something cool and trying to do it aswell. gianttrials

hi i'm a fitness instructor and work in a gym. the thing about weights training is theres different ways to do it, endurance, explosive and strength building, and body building. to replicate standard trials moves is quite tricky, and if you train hard you shouldn't be able to train for atleast 2-3 days after which means you lose out on precious riding time. by all means weight train but remember you cant beat just getting out on your bike and riding. p.s nutrition is important in weight training to get a benefit and plyometrics doesn't really apply to much, unless your a high jumper or basketball player (still good to try though) gianttrials

By the way si-mans bad attitude is in the way he's going on in loads of topics at anyone that has anything to say, thats the problem! Thats true fat pants. I've learnt that from my 8 years on stock bikes, but i was asking for peoples opinions, not asking what i should use. Is that so wrong
-
well being a new member it's not likeky that i'm gonna know everything about how the forum works! even so the reason i asked was because i know about stocks but not alot about mods, and this forums meant to be here for advice isn't it? otherwise whats the point! thanks to people who gave advice though, and can't full members keep out of here!
-
si-man has an attitude, i was working last week so probably didn't see it. hope you get kicked off soon
