  10. nice an simple looking very sweet and very different. B
  11. Not keen on the green, but its different. I especially like the fact that you have a decent grind on your back wheel, like how grinds first started out, although grinds were done like that to disperse water from the rim back in the day, its all good though. Ben G WST
  12. luke mate i'm gutted, gotta work and so is ben j but maybe can meet up after easter, u could ride weston again, or i'll come up to bristol, let me know, B WST
  13. Looks very nice mate, how i wish my pitbull had zoo! stickers on it but oh well. Nice to see a bike without the horrid flourescent colours. Ben G WST
  14. looks good mate, and aslong as you like it that should be all that matters, Ben G WST
  15. If you look on the new magura packaging it says trials specific, and braided hosing is better as it decreases the chance of hose splitting, and I think it looks much nicer aswell, Ben G WST
  16. ditto to the above, I personally wanna track down some oddysey sharkbite pedals if they're still being made, they're well nice and look/work sweet. Ben
  17. I gotta agrre with that, cage pedals work well enough, an i think i'm gonna track down a pair of odysey sharkbite pedals for my next pair, uuuuummmmmmmm nice. Ben
  18. Hi all, i was thinking lastnight about certain riders that were well respected back in the day and wondered what they are doing nowadays. This probably would get more feedback from full members but i can only post in the new members section, but oh well. Now when I started riding trials 10 or more years ago there was big names like:- Libor Karas-Cannondale rider and former world champ Will Cogger-Peugeot bikes british trials rider Ian Cooper-Raleigh Ti bike that was way ahead of many bikes at the time Rich Johnson who started off the M.A.D team with Giles Wolfe and finally Matt Tongue- Edd Tongues older brother-Pashley If anyone Knows what they're are doing nowadays please feel free to write a reply, as it would be interesting to know if any of these riders still ride or still have a connection to the sport (i don't know as i had a few years away from the sport, and then when i started again everyone had seatless bikes, lol) Many thanks Ben Gray . P.s Sorry if i have offended any new members who have been riding for many years like myself and have seen the sport evolve so much.
  19. dude, cant wait 4 u 2 ride stock, B

  20. This is very true, and explosion/power training wont make you get bigger (unless its in your genetics) Ben G WST
  21. Everything really, you name it it gets used
  22. Yep a mixture of cardio/stamina training and explosive power training are spot on for trials, eat a healthy balanced diet, but don't worry to much about percentages of protein, fat, carbs, fibre, etc (this is important but very impractical to worry to much about), and your body will only use so much protein in 1 go (approx 28 grams/ best used by the body within 30 mins after training, hence the reason alot of people use supplement drinks). Train all the major muscle groups first then focus on smaller muscle groups and you can't go far wrong. For explosive strength training your best to try 3 sets of 8-12 reps with a heavy weight, have a complete recovery rest between sets, and do as many reps as you can on your last set (for example 6-7 reps is fine). Anyone who wants more info just ask and i'll help if i can. Ben G WST P.s i'm a full-time fitness instructor just incase anyone wondered.
