  1. cool pics connor, your bike looks nice ben g WST
  2. 1. i've bought stuff from china and payed via paypal 2. stuff abit lighter than a frame cost £30 delivery from hong-kong it seems abit of a risk 2 me maybe if he was on e-bay it wouldn't be so bad as you can get some kind of back up but IMO its not worth the risk (unless loads of peeps try an buy stuff from this guy an he gets +ive comments/feedback) ben g WST
  3. hope pro 2s seem v good, or get sum chris kings if u can afford them
  4. yep could be the tpa (if its a new shape lever), they do have a tendency i found of stripping the inner threads and making the lever pull right bar to the bars, once they start going like that you should notice a light bang kinda noise when you pull back and the tpa will look like its a weird angle (when looking at it straight on), if this is the case try re-fitting/alligning the tpa on the thread or buy a new lever blade (as said above maybe a metal one) ben g WST
  5. maybe u should take it back to the shop u bought it from? (when u say lever do u mean the lever blade or the whole lever body? because lever blades are the same left/right), alternatively u may need to try a re-bleed an sounds like tubing needs re-fitting. if u can re-fit it do a water bleed (or bath bleed if u dont have a bleed kit) an remove the pads an try abit of gt-85 on the seals of the sticky piston to see if it stops it seizing. hopefully that should make sense an work for u ben g WST
  6. e-mail deng@echobikes.com he'll probably give you the address if u ask nicely
  7. what kind of problem? be more specific if you want help
  8. you can cut hoses (use a stanley knife) and if done properly u shouldn't need to re-bleed, just back of the tpa an put the lever at a horizontal position on the bars before removing the tubing from the lever and keep the hosing below the heiaght of the lever an it should work fine, if however it feels spongy after that then you'll probably need a re-bleed.
  9. kenda 2.1" cheapy front (but suprisingly grippy) maxxis high roller 2.35" single ply rear (with a kenda downhill tube 2.4-2.75 beast)
  10. cheers m8, the tensioner is ok but every so often it goes slightly out of line or pulls back, an if you pedal really hard/fast it makes a funny grinding noise, apart from that its fine (it would be better if i had fun bolts on my hub instead of a skewer) ben g WST
  11. such a beautifal bike, wish i had 1 of them, v jealous lol
  12. cheers guys, gotta figure out sum time of for next month, btw luke the pics were taken at sandbay.
  13. so i now got a 74kingz tensioner an new front wheel/disc, so i thought i'd share some pics, all comments welcome thinking of spraying it again but matt black next time, cheers ben g WST
  14. by all means use muc-off but dont leave it on your frame for to long as it has atendency of eating away at paintwork, ben g
  15. the boy is now a man, lol wicked vid alex, but i have to ask whats happen to your trebby twists, lol they went when you went to mod, good goin though ride soon bud ben g WST
  16. haha i see the similarity aswell lmao
  17. yep sex sums it up perfectly, an beast, an gorgeous, and classy, and......... could go on an on, lol
  18. isnt tf here for a reason, uummm lets think yes, so i think its a valid question. if he's got a frame that needs a seat then whats wrong with having a seat? they can look cool, an back in the day, all trials bikes had seats
  19. ouch torn rotor cuff, not nice, but rest is the best bet. just take it easy, you'll be better of in the long run.
  20. echo pinks, lasting well and just keep holding/biting, i'm well impressed with em
  21. maybe middleburns are common as u put it, for a reason. they're strong/reliable cranks (not just for trials but all bike disciplines), and i would say that those peeps slagging of square taper, obviously have been riding for 2 days an just follow the crowd, lol. isis/square taper both have good an bad points, you cant really say ones better than the other (atleast not at the moment) no offence to those who been riding years, just bugs me when u get these kids that follow the crowd an say crap like, i want such an such because so an so has got 1
  22. they come on a small seatpost, but u could take an angle grinder to it to get a smaller/snugger fit. you can get them from most good bikeshops special order. probably about 10-15 pounds. get a plastic one though because fabric ones are plastic covered with the fabric an they get sticky when u pull the fabric off. heres a pic of my mini seat shaped to my old giant.
