  1. Checked with my mate who works in a body shop. Just key up the frame with a bit of wet and dry to give the primer a surface to adere to. A normal primer will do the trick. then give it a few thin coats as sed previously and allow to dry properly between each coat. once happy that the paint has hardened use the wet and dry again to smooth down the primer so your top coat will have a good finish and again something to adere to. and the same process for putting laquer back on top of your colour. hope this helps if you need any more advice just drop me a text
  2. i take it you on about the bolt that goes in to either the lever or the cylider. if you have manages to get it disconnected then cut the end of the hose off and get the correct fitment fitted. I would reccomend going to your local bike shop as they will be able to give you some advice on what you may need to get the brake in working condition again. If my memory serves me correct you are going to need a new olive on the hose aswell. hope this helps a little bit
  3. i wasnt on about the mod although that was dodgy was on about my old koxx levelboss that i done it to!
  4. When i did mine i used a drill and an angle grinder. I know its a bit over the top but i just took my time. Cutting out the headtube doesnt really make any difference strength wise to the frame as all the pressure is via the heaset cups. To be honest it doesn't save that much weight but if done right can look really trick. Rob dont comment about my technique lol!!!!

  9. the best way would be to run a racing cassette on the back. they have got smaller ratios as they are used for road riding. try your local bike shop for a chain they are more than likely to do a 5/6 speed chain as i was running one not that long ago

  15. Alrite guys A few of us are riding Bristol tomorow. Will be meeting at the steps round the corner from temple meads at about 12 if anyone fancies it.
  16. Yeah I agree with you Rob. I have a big amount of respect for these guys getting out and riding. No offence to Heath and the guys but I hope that i am still riding when I get to their age. Its good to see people getting out on the bikes for a laugh and to try a few new things rather than just getting out there for some compitition. I myself enjoy riding with them as I always have a good laugh with them and no pressure is put on anyone to do something that you don't want to do or can't do. Hope to get out and ride with you guys again soon!!
  17. Martin Hawyes is a bike company rep down here in the south west. Quite reguallary pops into the local bike shop. Last i heard he was still riding trials but just not in the lime light so to speak
