Right Ok, i broke the cross over cable on my rear maggie, ive paid 15 quid for a bleed at the shop countless times so i fort id give it a bash my self...... i replaced the cross over cable with my friends one.... i decided to try and bleed it in the bath..... so... First i undid the bolt next to the cable on the leaver... like the hole thing (underwater) ......... Then i undid the bolt on this pic (underwater) then i just pumped the leaver like crazzy and did up the bolts again (underwater) then i took it out and expected it to work lol an it didn't ..... this is my 1st time trying to bleed a break please help it would be nice to be able to ride 2 moz Thanks Seb

my friend did the same thing and rethreaded his frame so he just has to use some slightly larger bolts in the calmps but works fine.

thanks for the comments guys yeah it is fairly heavey but it dosent bother me, it would be proper trials geo but ive got the riser bars. Thanks seb

Thanks guys emm they are think at the hub end and go thinner to wards the end where the nipple is... all the spokes are really tight its a nice build.

Ok, so i picked up my new wheel from the shop to day and its mint nice but i don't think they've used straight gage spokes how much weaker will this make my wheel as i have coloured nipples as well ? Thanks Seb

New back wheel just got it back to day viz rim, blue nips/black spokes, hope pro2 Gun-smoke!! blue tape hehe on one tentioner u should be able to tell the rest from the pics hehe rides like a dreamm!!!! images look much better if you view them in full Enjoy Seb

true stuff it sounds like you got a good service to be honest mate with the speed of the postage and them fixing it for free.... and yeah its a good job to learn basic maintenance so you can keep your bike in good Nic, its a nice bike to ride though my friend has one, his back wheel also died from snappage but you have to expect a few cheap parts if you buy a standard bike Seb
