They are the only band from my sorta time that are any good (IMO) Most of the lyrics can be related to in some way by most teenagers at some point. Noel is one of the best guitar players and lyrics writer ever, and yes liam is an arrogant twat but he gives oasis the "I dont care" attitude that a lot of teenagers have. They may not be THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD officially but how can there ever be one, its just an opinion. I cannot name a recent band that has made as bigger impact as oasis did with definately maybey and what's the story, as i said before the AM's come close though. Please don't think that I rekon oasis are the best band ever and no one will ever be better than them, all though I may sound like that it's just my opinion that they're class. After all music taste is all preference.

They got popular because they're f**king class! Oasis are oasis. They don't fit into a category. There not exactly hardcore rocker dudes, nor are they little gay popstars

All though oasis are still going and have a new album coming out soon, Arctic Monkeys are the only newish band to come anywhere near them so far. Metal wise, i dislike it but admit that the likes of Iron Maiden and metalica are good, however newer metal is shite.

Haha, 10 times better? They are one of the closest bands to oasis yes, but there is no way blur are better, it's a simple fact/half the worlds opinion. Damon Vs Liam...... no comparison.
