In which case - either try and do some illegal stuff to a version of Pro Tools, unless you have Pro Tools outboard? Or - get a top end version of Cubase, which as far as I know runs 80 tracks max.

Yes - in a way. Pro Tools is best for PC - not having any of this Cubase milarky. You can have 200 channels on Pro Tools as far as I know.. You'll also need an audio interface, 5 or more inputs, firewire or USB (but USB is slow as).

Cubase sucks balls, and is the most un-user friendly recording program ever. Fruity loops is better - and that's saying something. The ONLY good thing for Cubase is for tracking, but not midi programming.

To learn technical solo's quickly and effectivly, a light touch is key. 3 guys in my class at Uni have had TD this term - it's put one out for 3 months. You don't have to press hard to get a good sound.

Played non stop Motown on Bass and Guitar throughout the day, and my fingers don't hurt. Watch out if your hands or fingers start hurting, as it could potentially be a symptom of Tendonitis! Are you playing with a lot of pressure on the fretboard?

Open it in Logic as a native instrument, you should have the option to? My plugins are always searched when opening the program, it then verifys they're legal, sets it up etc etc. Has it not searched for it? If not, you need to put it in the VST folder.. If in doubt, if it works in Cubase - program it on the matrix on there, then export it as an audio file and stick it into Logic. Make sure everything's quantiezed though!

I wonder how many they have left in stock? Be it 1 or 10 maybe? It's a blooming good price at the moment, so it can only get better - I'd buy one at £20 - but I'm sure it'll be long gone before then!

Spotify might be the way forward - some guys at Uni were talking about them maybe doing free videos at some point too, you could upload yours too. That would pretty much render youtube useless then..
