  1. A few reasons why its more, Comp was bought in 2009. Material costs and currency was better, Headtube cut out, More U6 tubes, CNC booster built is not very cheap at all (adding a 100 gram booster and keeping it the same weight costs) , Weld bead between the top tube and down tube increases build time. Drop outs are more refined which takes longer in the CNC jig. Internal head tube costs more to produce. think that’s about it really, Certainly no one is trying hike the price up to get more money. The Comp was so cheap because it was a very very simple frame. Cheers
  2. That would be me working within guide line margins at the UK distributors. That's current, I took over this around 4 years ago. Prior to that it would have been mike at onza.
  3. I presume so, He will have it built by Tuesday I think.
  4. Just black, cant get too jazzy with just black.
  5. It will be that colour, With Black graphics and matching forks. Should weigh 1.45KG frame only and complete bike around 8.5KG. Will reatail at £1000 for complete and £290ish for frame only. Will be here in July and the geo is 1010, +80, 350. No bash plate mounts nor disc mounts. Think that about covers it.
  6. True, I should have said a high % are new riders. I would not expect a new rider to ride the Genesis or Vox for example.
  7. Hi all, Link to the facebook thread, http://www.facebook.com/jackmeeklovesbikes#!/photo.php?fbid=10150796230861680&set=at.10150175018871680.302002.504956679.506422089&type=1&theater Sorry for the picture, will get some fresh ones up soon.
  8. Thanks to the supporters in this topic. In 7 years I have worked at Onza we have never been everyones cup of tea, But what brand is....... I'd like to think that most people understand that brands like Koxx would not have produced the Yaabaa brand if they didnt have admiration for what we do. How is that brand doing by the way? We have over our 14 year life produced over 15000 trials bikes, Thats alot of new riders to the sport as a high percentage have an Onza to start with. Without these 15000 new riders on the market place there would be no "buyers" for the expensive aftermarket products from other brands thus colapsing these other companys. What state would trials be in if that had happened?
  9. Bingo! If you visit the site and then click on visit shop you will see they are a very large BMX store too. As far as I know Rock (Trials) Roll (BMX). Quite a good play on words and it certainly seems to have grabed some one's attention, so its done the trick I think. Sweet video James, Well done too Matt. P.S are all the guys at Tarty ......well Tarty? They have a very clever and catchy name too.
  10. Sorry the weight printed should not have gone to press, a little error in the far east. The actual weight is in raw finish. My bad and will not be printed on future models. The geo is quite handy I think as the amount of times the rider is asked at a comp "whats the geo?" I ju.st thought it would save explanation. Sorry if it offends. As Mark said the graphics are more subtle in the flesh, The Purple finish would have made it around the £499 mark. We wanted to make it as affordable as possible. High BB's are where the market is at, If you want a lower one then there is the Genesis, Lower still then there is a Limey 3 , Lower still then I'm sure I can dig a T-Rex frame out for you.
  11. Its quitte a big attachment, Do you really need one any bigger?
  12. I'll be there with the new Limey 4 and Genesis frames!
  13. sorry if no one has got back to you yet, I do not recieve all the e-mails but your warranty claim should be taken up with the dealership you bought it from. Onza do not hold priorty with end users on warranty claims. Its like sending a warranty claim direct to Nike when you bought the goods from JJB. Nike probley made £5 on the sale where the dealer made £45 on the sale, Thus taking on the role of point of contact for any queries after purchase. I will check with the guys back at the office if they have heard anything but the point is you really should see the shop you bought it from. Like Mark stated earlier, If its dented or abused its un likley you will get a new frame FOC. I think you will find though that there will be a half price replacment available once you go through the correct channels. I will not disclose names or anything but one chap bought a second hand frame, Thought there was warranty on it, made up super ficial cracks on it, was turned down warranty by the dealer as it was second hand then some how got my number, Phoned me , claimed he had been told that it was under warranty. once the frame was sent back and no "cracks" were found he then actually said sorry for wasting our time and bought a new one. you see we get it all the time and it is really frustrating having to deal with things direct when the profit in the first place is swollowed up with the first postage cost.
  14. Both Genesis and Limey 4 will be out beg of Nov. No Price's or pics just yet. Will post post when I have them.
  15. That will be the 20" Genesis, Out as a complete ready for next season.
  16. Thanks guys, Ali, I understand what you said. It does look a little understated but the rest of the range was giving me a headache, Ha ha. Its the same as last years Pro but Hydraulic Discs. GU LE ah, Yeah I see where they got the idea from ha ha. Its the same frame that was made 18 months ago...Just black. Sorry I seem to have started a dual thread, Please comment and see the news thread as pics of the Zoot and Mini Master are in there too.
  17. The Mod was scrapped for the time being. Geo is 1085 +55 380 73.
  18. They are the Onza ones you saw on the Zoot Pro Build. Its a Matt black frame with gloss black graphics.
