  1. Should be here in Oct, Cheeers
  2. Me and Seddon have had a long chat tonight and this came up. Please be aware that Onza and Rock 'n' Roll are two individual teams. Onza ran by me and the UK Distributor. Rock 'n' Roll ran by the guys in Nottingham. I believe what Mike is saying that you can ride anything really, You would be limited to the benefits as products sold by Rock'n'Roll would be the only discounted parts. BUT I will have a fresh new pool of talent to scout as I can’t even go on Facebook now without some Spanish kid asking for free stuff. I can point them all to this academy where we can assess the attitude and other aspects of the rider in closer detail without attaching the Onza name to them. The Onza Team is a skeleton of its former self but we do not just sponsor anyone as its a business at the end of the day and the team is a drain on the already slender profits. Riders need to prove they can promote and look after product etc which the R'n'R Academy would show potential candidates much more clearly. I feel as though the testing of prototypes etc could go to the R'n'R team too as I would ideally like the pro team to look a more professional outfit riding only production equipment. Good luck to all of you that try to get into the Academy.....If it goes ahead.
  3. They do have them in stock, They cleared Moorelarge out about a month ago for the European Market. Think their website is a little out of date due to the release of their bricks and mortar store.
  4. http://www.rickkoekoek.nl/ ? Mods are easier to learn on but you never grow out of them.
  5. More like a Pro without discs. Bad news is Bird has lost the front disc to keep it at a price point of £449.99. That actually made me lol.
  6. Its ready to be made, We just need to clear some stock.
  7. well, Ryan is riding a new one now. His proto was nice and it rode great but it was felt as though it would have blened in too well with whats on the market. Hi new one is a little different.
  8. it does, we fit the plate as well because its a feature to the noob. Bikes above £500 will be ring only.
  9. British standards state you must cover the chain ring. The plate is fitted to all bikes under £500 due to non trials riders loving plates. Its a kinda symbol of a trials bike to a noob.
  10. We will, Thing is the 20" range brings in the money and the frames are added bonus's. Frames are so in and out of fashion its hard to produce the min qty without being left with plenty of stock. We have 3 frame ready to push the button on but must get rid of the current stock. A couple of 26" full builds will be available at the end of the year.
  11. Just something I wanted to post for comments. New model that sits between the Bird and Pro. Colour scheme is gonna be marmite I think.
  12. I think, but please dont quote me as I really cant be arsed to argue that they have answed back and the reporter in Australia had to apologise for writing the story. Other wise you would not be allowed to sell them right? Like I said, Really not bothered. Just thought I would say what my experiance was with them.
  13. True, Weight is not king in 24". Heavier can mean stronger remember. Zoot Pro is aimed to be lighter so "trialsy" stuff can be a little easier, Especially if you are a beginner. Down to budget though dude.
  14. Mixed reveiws on them I've heard. The same people who sell Onza sell Power Balance to the Cycle Trade. I've had the test done on me and it worked. Made me stretch further and able to resist being pushed over. I have my doubts whether its a placebo but he is a vid. It will have its critics for sure but I'm never gonna slag something off that may make you think you can perform better as when you have that mind set then you usually do perform better.
  15. It has a narrow front tyre to reduce weight on the front but you could quite easily pop a 2.4 on there if you wish.
  16. A very original.......Onza Joe MW2
  17. Down tube, Could only land on it a few times as it was so thin. Its was only about 1.6Kg 6 years ago so you can see why.
  18. 200 sold this year in the UK alone and 350 worldwide and not one to my knowlege has broken at the BB yoke. its the same design that was on the Woodstock which as a frame broke quite easily but not at the yoke. Everything else you say is quite spot on except the ET geo bit.
  19. Hey, Main differance between the Zoot and the fourplay is that the Fourplay is built from after market parts so there really isnt anything cheap on it where the the Zoot is built to a price point so things like the handle bars and forks are steel instead of alloy like the fourplay. loads of other things seperate the two but you get what you pay for really. Depends if you are the next Danny Mac or you fancy a go at 24" street without spending serious pennys. Cheers
  20. Just thought I'd stop this here. First of all Ali there is a 10% online discount with Onza. Most shops take 10% off before they have even been built. It is also against the law to tell the shops to sell products at certain price. Now if the bikes were brand new on the ebay then I would tell them to get them off but they are MOR (mail order returns) they have scratchs on etc, they can sell them for what they want. Why
  21. Master is the model above but was designed a whole year before the Comp. Upgrades are: Alloy Forks Sealed Bearing Headset. Sealed Bearing Front hub. VP Cage Pedals Rear 128 Drilled rim. The frame is stiffer then the Comp but is a whole 250 grames heavier. Geo of the Comp may be more "up to date" but thats riders choice. Hope this helps.
