  1. I've had about 19 or so trials frames, 6 of those being mod.

I switched to riding mod full time at the end of last season just for something different. And I personally found mod was a lot harder to ride than stock. You need so much more precision on a mod. Take off and landings need to be a lot more controlled with the small wheels. For big moves I find stock is generally a lot better. My highest sidehop is still on my heavy Megamo Equip or my old Zoo Boa. I tied that sidehop on the mod this year but I did the same sidehop on my stock bikes over 2 years ago. I just generally like the feel of riding a mod. You need more precision and you definitely can't roll over anything but they just have a fun feel to them.

I really just like switching bikes constantly to keep myself motivated to ride.

  2. I'm using these shoes on vp cage pedals and at first I wasn't used to the stiffer sole (coming from try all or super flimsy shoes) but after wearing them around for a week or so they are awesome! Great grip on my super worn down vps and they are comfy and seem very durable. I don't have any pedal groves in the shoes after a few months of them now. But yea I'd recommend em

  3. I'm pretty sure ALL caissos are prone to breaking on the right chainstay, on that plate.

I've tried one but it felt a bit short, and I really like short bikes. Must have been the bar/stem setup though because I rode my old megamo radical that I sold and it felt rad.

Have fun with it until it breaks

  4. So I was pretty happy to see a world round in the uk, mainly cuz I thought there would be tons of media stuff. But I've only seen a couple short vids. Anyone got anything else comin?

    thanks,

    Dave

  5. I am riding my Echo team short right now, and at a comp yesterday I rode my friends Xlite 26", last years red one. And its the best stock bike I've ever ridden, and all you people who say you can't get your rear disc to work, get an Avid 8". Mine worked flawlessly on my Megamo and this one worked flawlessly on the Monty.

  6. These things are finally good to go.

I've been running the prototypes for a while now and there were only slight changes made to the final product to add tire clearance. These things fit stock or mod, wide rim, narrow rim, whatever! This finally puts an end to shady home made adapters...
