You have to remember that a lot of the monty parts are made to be light.
Its like when people say how much stronger a levelboss is than an xlite.
Well no frigin shit its stronger. Its got another pound of aluminum on it.
Both Monty and Try all rims use very soft aluminum.
I'll stick to my dx-19 thanks...

Most people who have tried rear disc don't use it long enough to really let it bed in.
My avids probably took a month to bed in fully. But then my rear disc but was the best brake I've ever tried. By far.
So I'd say if your gonna go rear disc prepare for a long break in period
and use an avid

the BIU 20" sections are far more difficult than any UCI 20" sections that i've seen...
But hey you've probably been to worlds and seen the sections right? of course

probably cost 500-600 pounds to get ryan out there. Maybe as little as 300 though...

carbon on the downtube would be very bad. Carbon has an incredible fatigue rate but it can't take impacts very well. i prefer my downtubes unshattered

The hill climb is a great section. A few years back Cesar was the only one in all of the categories (stock and mod) to make the section. Some people say it was too hard, but these are the world championships. Sections like this help pick the riders apart.
Trials isn't just about the concrete pipes you see in the uci videos...

I was there, I wish someone had Dani's gaps on video. Where he was on that balance beam that was made from those two logs that went on an angle. he was on the forward downslope and then he sidehop/gapped to the stack of pallets by the showers. anyone else remember?

if Andy wants to say zoo sucks and shaun is an asshole thats fine. Again I will say that my biggest problem is the fact that he goes into more personal attacks. Thats just useless garbage right there. If someone hates another rider cuz he has a bad attitude then thats ok but what does his life matter to you?

If they would put a bashguard on it i'd be riding one. They're really hard to get in north america as well.
I wouldn't be concerned if lots of people are going with the longer version. Follow through the list of top 20" riders in the world. 95% will be on short mods
