I actually added up all my recipts too the other week and was somthing like £4000ish not all on Tarty though and there are many more things i lost recipts for not added into that figure. (4 frames contributed a lot)

Ok i think its time to book now yes? Flights. The cheapest flight i found was with Easyjet from London Gatwick to Barcelona. (LGW/BCN) Luton airport was slightly more expensive and stansted was twice or three times more expensive than Gatwick. So:- Depart Gatwick on Thursday 14th Feb 08 to Barcelona on flight EZY5131 at 07:10AM (arriving there at 10:20AM) Returning from Barcelona Sataurday 17th Feb 08 to Gatwick on flight EZY5140 at 22:15PM (arriving home at 23:30PM) This is including all taxes and fees etc and 1 bike comes to £73.98 return (Not including any checked in bags/suitcases as i dont think we will need them. For those of you that do want to check a bag in its another £7 odd return, however i think you be better off putting any tools in the bike bag and few cloths etc in 1 hand luggage) I chose these timed flights to make the most of our short stay. Does anyone have a problem with these times and dates and choice or airport? Say so now if you do so we can finalise things. From Barcelona Airport to Sabadell Looks like train is prob the best way to do it. I have searched and searched to try and find which train(s) to get and how much it will cost but i really cant find anything. All i have come up with is these 2 train maps which show both BCN airport and Sabadell. Anyone that has done this trip before can you please help us out here, what did you do? How much was it roughly? Train map 1 Accomodation There are hundreds and hundreds of hotels apartments coming up when i search for this this is just 1 i found alhough not sure how far it is from trials park. Matt what was the hotel you found, you got a link to it? Do we stay in Sabadell or Barcelona? Kool someone been doing their homework. I not had much time to look anymore into it lately with xmas/work, and sortin out a car ill post back on monday it my day off see if we can pretty much finalise this and maybe even start booking flights. May sound silly question but you dont have to pay to ride there, do you? As for trains i suppose we just turn up at train st and wait for next one to Sabadell or nearest place.

Well just had quick look at weather there at the moment and it 15-20 degrees so pretty warm and sunny. And the train idea sounds the way to go, a lot simpler than worrying about car hire. Everyone ok with going 15th-17th Febuary then yeah? Early morning flight going and evening flight back?

Or how about 15th to 17th Feb then? That falls on my 2 days off then too so will only need 1 day holiday or 1 shift swap. Only it is school hols so wont be cheapstar be expenstar

Well maybe go again in Summer depends how much costs etc. Easter is only sort of date been put forward at the moment that ok with everyone else? If we only go for like 3 days can you not just take few days off uni an go sooner, wont miss much in 3 days.

When is Easter exactly? Does seem a long way off. Cant you just take 3 days off school/college/uni??

Right I have tried organising this lil trip originally for January, but then Ad says only can do Febuary, then Steve can only do March apparently (if he does come) So to make it easier and save me arranging it all then cancelling it again because someone cant come if everyone that is up for coming posts here and saying when they want to go. I have looked on Ryan Air for flights to Girona and Reus and they are about £40-£60 including all taxes etc and of course a bike. Only problem is both Gerona and Reus are about an 1-2 hour drive from Sabadell. I have also looked on Easyjet and the flights are about £50 return plus another £15 for bike so £65 return including taxes and bike etc. So both similar sort of price only Easyjet fly to Barcelona airport itself so is very close to Sabadell (30min drive id guess looking at map) So it looks like Easyjet it going to be. Price is from London Stansted to Barcelona based on going late January time. Everyone agrees 3 or 4 days there yes? Early morning flight there and evening flight back? Also i think we will probably need car hire as i dont think sabadell is walking distance. I seen Hertz car hire from 11 euro a day (£7 ish) but im not sure what the legal requirements are when it comes to insurance. Is it 21 and 3 years experience anyone know? And also who is up for the driving? I havent really looked into accomodation yet as i dont know if this is going to happen or when. A quick look i see hotels in Barcelona for £70ish per night and more but maybe cheaped in Sabadell. And do we get hotel or camp? This can all be sorted at a later time for now lets see whos coming and when then we can properly arrange car hire if need be and accomodation. If anyone has been here before where did you fly too and stay and did you need car hire? Also may sound silly question but do you need to pay entrance fee for trials park there or just turn up and ride? Any help greatly appreciated. Please dont post here unless you are serious about coming along or have some useful info we could do with knowing.

That was really good, really well done so so much practicing to get the sync right. I have seen it before on another show (Tour de France maybe) really really good showmanship too.
