  1. I'd still pay to see someone do this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdM_u5y5m5A Faked or not.
  2. The reaction should say it all, really. If someone just eats it no problem, then somethings wrong.
  3. Just wondering if anyone on heres attempted it yet? For those who don't know, the idea is to eat a table spoon of cinnamon in less than a minute, with nothing to drink. I'll personally send A mars bar to anyone who attempts it, win or lose; Providing theres video evidence. Tristan's attempt:
  4. Best bet is to find out what temp they require, and then just get a bog standard tesco/asda/morrissons/etc spot light/ reflector bulb. It'll cost you a fraction of a branded one and does the job perfectly. I've got a couple of Heat lamp fittings kicking around, should be able to dig you one out if thats any good?
  5. Do you just need the bulbs, or the fittings too? What wattage?
  6. Awesome, worked for me too. Thanks
  7. My train gets in at 10.30, where is everyone going from there so I know where to find you all?
  8. 24"'s cool, not a fan of the 26" though...
  9. 11am at the station, again lol. Providing enough of the snows gone.
  10. First of all, why would you get negative feedback if you've been 100% honest? What makes you think he's going to 'mug you off''? If it was stated clearly in the listing that it was for spares or repairs, and that it was missing those bits then I'd imagine ebay would overturn it, unless he can prove otherwise...
  11. Changed the topic to next Sunday. 11am at the station? If anyones interested, I'll be riding Sheffield on Wednesday aswell
  12. Sucks.. Unless anyones still going, I guess I'm out.. Next weekend ?
  13. Most of the weather reports I'm reading are predicting sunshine all day, with highs of 5c, but then thats not much use if theirs 1ft of snow already... Still a possibility, depends on how it goes over night.
  14. It's only getting worse by the looks of things... Anyone still going?
  15. Snowing here. Hoping it's not in Sheffield hahag
  16. I don't think Hsbc's all that difficult really. It does give you the option to change you're number to a name. I just type in my name, answer my secret question and then generate a code. What is a pain in the arse, is having to generate another number, and entering the last 4 digits of the account number when transferring money. I personally find hsbc alot easier than natwest/barclays etc in terms of online banking.
  17. Good stuff, should be fun if the weather holds out.
  18. Topic change due to falling white stuff... 11am at the train station?
  19. I'm just in the process of buying some new tyres for my control, when I suddenly realised I have no idea when it comes to 26". Having always rode 20" before now, I've just gone with creepy crawlers and just assumed thats what I'd go for this time lol Looking for something with a decent grip, and that will last a while. Weight and pinch resistance aren't quite as important. I've noticed tarty have these on offer, but am i right in thinking they don't to wear down pretttyyyy quickly? What about high rollers, how do they preform? I've had a look at the conti's, but they're a little out of my price range at the moment... Basically just wondering what other people use, and ,maybe some quick reviews Thanks
  20. I have a feeling it's something to do with the sprocket catching on the the frame. I guess you could possibly get away with a front sprocket smaller than 18t, but I wouldn't bank on it. How much space have you got at the minute with the freewheel? Edit: too late...
  21. Paypals good, and I personally find bank transfers to be pretty easy/safe
