What's Your Worse Trials-related Bike Accident?
missionmod replied to cmfx_2's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Nothing to bad. As you said sprain and pains, but worst had to be kick hop to face basikly lol I was trying to gap from ledge to legde and as i pushed my front wheel forward, it hit the front on the wall and i jsut went over the bars and had no time to put my arms down so just smahed me face on the top of the wall. didnt hurt to much but next day was bad lol. liam -
You need to get a "easy out " drill a hole thought the bolt. Then screw the easy out in to the hole, make shure it is lubricated and spray wd40 on hole and then once the easy out is tight as possibal,it should start to turn the brooken bolt out of the taping. if that hard to under stand im sorry as that is what my dad told me. liam

Also a good point is to wind you tpa out all the way down. before you remove the bolts so when once you bleed your brake there is more fluid in the cables and pistons. So when you wind it out to the requird amount you have more fluid so you brake should feel more sharper and have more pressure as its apliled. hope this helped a bit more ? ( sorry for some of the spelling mistakes) liam

I would say stick with a magie. they prower full, if your side hoping you not as likely to smash it. Like with a disk you have the changes of bending it. Also you have a lot of stress on the forks with a disk. My opioion would be stick with a magie liam

Have you put the tpa in all the way ?? and what he doesnt say is you need to put the bolts back in the calliper and leaver when the brake is still under water as air all get in the brake. Thats what usealy make the brake spungey. liam
-
I find the leaver in the 05 ones are more comfyer, and look beter as the tpa is in a safer place. liam
-
Harry i do your brakes not you lol Anyway what are you using to bleed you brake ?? If your useing water. This is the way iv all ways done it. Works fine. liam
