Thanks a lot for filming and quick editing.

Crewkerz is the best bike I've ever had.

As I'm tiny Japanese not have much physical strength, the stiffness of the bike really helps me to transfer my power without any flex.
And it stays straight even on unstable, slippery rocks.
Look of frame is a bit eccentric, but it is well thought, well constructed.

Downside of stealth bike is, sometimes I lost my confidence on my bike because there is no noise of engagement of clutch, nor bite of brake...

I wouldn't say you don't have much strength mate! Your riding looks effortless and smooth as hell!

Not at all. I just meant the couple of failed attempts I seen were a bit wild. Its just good to see someone giving some beans and not worrying about complying to unwritten rules. I like to see people going as big as they can, not holding back because they might put an extra hop in. (Y)

DKs bike sounds like it works well. Also, I've really come round to liking those Crewkerz bikes. They look mega stiff!

Ah I get you, I always did have that sort of mentality way back when, trying it again now but my body doesn't seem to deal with it aswell! Haha

    Also, what lemon said.

I'd like to @Ali C him riding a TGS bike. Would be like seeing @aener on a bike with brakes. :)

Not seen the old czar 1?

@Ali C would some of the older lower bb tgs rigs not be ideal? Your ashton days were pretty special! Would be interesting to see how you'd ride them now :)

A friend of mine had a Rx8, it was some sort of limited edition thing, think it had more power than a standard one and spec'd differently but...

Apart from it using far too much fuel and oil it didn't ever break down on him. He had it around 18 months too. They just need looking after a little more than a typical car that's all.

See im under the impression they cant all be bad if looked after, this kinda backs me up, fuel doesn't bother me, i know what im letting myself in for haha, oil doesn't either, Ive ran an alfa for 2 years, im used to checking every 500 yards

I honestly wouldn't bother with an RX-8. Granted all the things I've heard are literally just "things I've heard", but they seem to rely on people looking after them properly, which most people seem not to do.

I've also read that, even when running perfectly, the RX-8 engine isn't overly inspiring.

I realise it's all things I've read rather than first hand experience, but generally these kind of comments are pretty accurate. See also "VW engine light" jokes - I've had enough experience of the VAG group to know this joke has some actual facts behind it. And no, not just that black shed I had for a while.

What makes you want the RX-8?

Thats the thing, im not careless at all, i look after my cars, if i had enough trust in buying one i know id look after it accordingly, just the gamble of buying used cars I guess albeit a higher risk with such motor.

I used to be abit of a vag whore but never really had any issues with engine lights always found the jokes tiring but still a chuckle :/

Not really sure, Im all about 'car for money' 2k can get you a hell of a lot of car! dont really keep anything to long besides the alfa I currently own but thats down to circumstances the past couple of years, think they could be cheap thrills for abit (if it doesnt go wrong that is)

Saab B234R engines in corsa's are mental mate. Tune it to 300-400bhp and strip all the weight out, im certain its unbeatable

I concur sir! My mates old c20let nova was pretty special at 220bhp.

  7. Bike check was cool, never knew the arcade was steel.. But then I've not long been back on the scene,

@Ali C If you struggling for ideas, I know it probably wouldn't be much of a riding vlog but how about 'your' evolution through trials? Bikes/riding styles/comps/tgs? :P to where you are now?

Would be interesting as you've been in the sport so long... or could just be me being nosey,I like to know stuff

    Keep it up :)

  8. Redtop corsa bruv, mint.

Anyway.. Rx8's.. anyone had any first hand experience with them? Rather than everyone just saying, they're shit.

Found 1 with a recon engine fitted in 2014, only covered 3000 miles since. Could be worth a punt?

  9. Its the old double wall, yeah i remember echos holding a grind better but this really does seem poor, i've exhausted all options now the brake couldnt be set up better, so just gonna leave it like you say, hopefully it might just be taking some uber bedding in!

It's definitely nothing to do with the pads - turn them round 180 degrees and you'd still have the same characteristics.

There's something wrong with your setup then.

Nothing at all, magura is working perfect, gave it a full service, fresh bleed.. pads are dead square! Even gave the rim a fresh sharp grind to try and solve this!

35 minutes ago, Mark W said:

Regarding the Heatsink pads, they've usually got a lot of bite/noise, so if they're not feeling great it'd be worth double checking that they're set up nice and square, and making sure you've got a decent grind on there.  That doesn't necessarily mean super deep and coarse, just a light to medium but sharp grind would work well.  Not going over the same bite of the rim repeatedly and stuff like that makes a big difference to how they turn out, and consequently how the pads perform.

I've had heatsink reds and cousts before and they were amazing... Really cant work out why these yellows are poor!.. the only difference i have now to my previous set ups is a try-all rim compared to an old echo 07.

Any help would be appreciated :)

  11.

bet your sick of people preaching @AdamAllen  but please get a lid adam hahaha!
