  1. thanks :P the real depressing thing for me is that you have Wal-Mart in England...
  2. Just thought I'd try to clear up some of the questions regarding the new bash guard design... The two point touch bash guard on the new Toxsin 20.1 frame is intended to give the bike more stability on uneven surfaces. When a standard bash plate rests on anything but a flat surface there is only one small point of contact, such as on a round log, but with the Toxsin bash guard the two plates offer stable and direct contact in two different locations and no matter how the bike shifts these points of contact are maintained. Please see the drawing for an illustration of this. Additionally, and this was not clear in the original pictures, there are elastomer bushings between the bash plate and the bash mount giving 4 mm of suspension to aid in forming to the object. So if you have ever had situations where your bike slides around or pivots on your bash plate you will be able to see the advantage of this new design. The reason that the bash plates are mounted to the guard mount instead of directly to the frame is to prevent damage to the frame itself in the unlikely event that the bash mount becomes damaged. I've seen plenty of standard bash plate mounts ruined requiring a new frame but with this design the main frame will never be damaged. I've also attached a detailed shot of the bash guard underside to clearly show the bushings. I hope this clears things up a bit!
  3. Our new 20" frame called the 20.1 is now available directly through the web site or from one of our regional dealers. There are specs and pics on www.toxsin-bikes.com in the components section. The frame is available with or without bash guard and in blue sparkle or silver sparkle. Thanks to everyone who has been patient about the release of this frame. Please get in touch here or via the web site if you have questions.
  4. um...there is no secrecy...it just wasn't finished yet... but the good news is that it is completely finished now and as soon as the pics are uploaded to the web site there will be posts made on the various forums so it is coming very soon!!!...!!!...!!!
  5. very nice vid, some huge shit goin down there
  6. There's a new video waiting for you all on the Toxsin site. This one features Bernhard Mehl again riding a few spots in Berlin. Check it out in the media section at www.toxsin-bikes.com This one is a bit shorter than the last one, its only about 3 minutes long... oh, and the site is now in HTML rather than Flash so it is much faster... Also, check out the components section for pics of our new ISIS bottom bracket!!
  7. you can save the riding video but you have to stream those production vids, unfortunately.
  8. Anyone interested in seeing how a Toxsin frame is constructed might like the 4 vids that we've just posted on the official Toxsin site, www.toxsin-bikes.com, in the media section. Nothing amazing, but they are very small and worth a look, people interested in this side of bikes might find them interesting. ;) There has been a similar vid on our UK dealer's site for a while but the above mentioned vids show a some altrnative footage.
  9. that was seriously one of the best vids I have seen in a long time. The riding was excellent, the editing was top quality as well and I loved the music, and I don't even like rock/guitar/any non electronic music really, but that song was original and interesting. Who did that music? I want to hear more from them. I thought it matched the style of riding perfectly. How did you get the video to sync so well with the music? That 2nd to last line with the bridge rail gap to drop to the stairs went perfectly with the snare drum roll in the song...did you just sync that up manually or is there a way for the software to do it? I still don't get the whole synching video to music thing...I've done a couple of vids but I aways have to use trial and error to try to make the video action match as close as I can to the music...but surely there has to be a better way..
  10. that is one of my fav vids of all time...so here you go...it also has one of the maddest gaps to front wheel of all time... I wish Bruno was still riding... http://www.eengoedidee.nl/parsefiles/?type...arnoldgiaco.avi

    European Vid

are you joking? Hosel is awesome, that box was completely wet and slippery as hell, and the top of the box was not level, it looks like the top was sunken in a bit. Why did some get it and other didn't? Well, if you ride wet shit you would realize that slippery wood is one of the most difficult and dangerous surfaces and the difference between sticking it or not could be measured in millimeters....no room for even the slightest shift n balance. Get Felix's other vid that is all Hösel so you can see how awesome he is
  12. we'll post a short video soon of the techs sitting at a bench and making the frames....by hand...one by one...obviously the CNC stuff isn't hand made... The vid is pretty interesting, I never imagined somebody actually did that...I always thought all frames were done by machine or something until the Toxsin guys showed me this...
  13. you just need the current flash plug in to view the site. If you go to the intro page there is a link to the free download of the player. Should work then..
  14. glad you liked it, thanks for the comments..hi hi, I had to do my own extended remix of that song to make it twice as long. It is really only 4 minutes long, but I made it 8 to in order to get all of the footage in there... so any repetiveness to the song is purely my own fault and not that of the song writers :)
  15. thanks :) prices are up to your local retailer. Check the order page but if you are in the UK the best thing to do is to contact www.toxsin.co.uk. If you are not in any of the regions already covered by on line shops then please use the order link on the site and somebody will help you out.
  16. Official Toxsin site launch with video!! Well, it is finally finished, The official Toxsin web site! We've included a new video that is available in the media section. In addition to the video you can check out all of the products that Toxsin offers and find information on how to contact us and how to place orders. We hope you really enjoy the video and the site! www.toxsin-bikes.com Music from the video: intro and outro track: Apricot by 154 from their CD Strike on Delsin Records main music: Walking On Mirror by And The Lefthanded, taken from the compilation The Electronic Ceremony on Inzec Records
  17. ha ha ! Excellent video! Loved the part where he is waiting to cross the street. nicely done!
  18. replying to my own post here...never mind posting it on eingoedidee, I just couldn't get it because my cookies were disabled...now I have it... sweet vid for sure but I think that people are over reacting a bit...
  19. Would somebody be kind enough to put it up on Engoedidee or something? I have tried to DL it with two different browsers, and have made several attempts with each one. I get that "please wait 44 seconds" box then "click here to download" and then it just says loading "loading download" but nothing happens...might be because that site is just not compatible with Mac..don't know..but please, after those comments I NEED to see it! thanks!
  20. eh, that's debatable, but it took a hell of a lot of confidence...and he did it with complete ease...
  21. I found that to be a really nice vid, fun to watch, interesting lines, great riding, loved the mix of street and natural too...music was also not bad great work and I look forward to more from you!
  22. nicely put together, good music with refreshing diversity, nice riding, sweet locations.. all in all a big >_<
