i got an inspired aswell as my limey20 and didnt like it one bit, felt too different to mod imo, good fun all the same, but i found myself everytime i was going out riding id get the 20" because i rode better on it, doing the same stuff on the 24 required so much more effort, so i ended up sellin it, hope this helped, phil

defo 04 maggys imo they arent as snap happy as the new ones if u have to bail off and your bike lands on your levers, also more comfortable, unbeatable with a fresh products lever blade like i use :-D

hey, i run a shimano xt vee with rock blue vee pads on a grind and its unbelievably good, more bite and lock than any maggy iv ever used, id defo reccomend the rock pads, change cable every so often and you wont have any problems, easier to set up than a maggy imo aswell

if u dont mind payin a bit extra go for tryalls, i run em an ther apot on, as for bars, either trialtechs or montys, both ride really well, very comfortable but the trialtechs are longer so give a bit more room and a wider stance when on the bike

i have also found when jumping back off my bike wearing the ribos, really hurts, especially the bottom of my foot, may have to go back to my old shimano am40s reasuringly chunky

26" and 20" refers to circumference not diameter

xc for sure, better ventilation, nufin worse than a sweaty head, i use a met terra and its spot on, can wear it for hours withouyt discomfort, very light too, would defo recommend

hi, i am having trouble finding a pair of hs33 pads that provide the hold i need as i like doing big bunnyhops so my pads go through alot but do not wear out in a matter of rides especially being used on a grind., i would be grateful if you could help with my problem. cheers phil.

i am selling my toxsin1 full bike to buy a mod. the spec is: Toxsin 1 frame -a tiny dent in downtube, a few scratches with brand new toxsin headset. Echo team forks- very good condition, disc only, silver Toxsin stem-black try-all yourself replica bars-good condition, black red rear magura-works fine with toxsin cnc booster. no front brake fitted but will include avid bb5, with deore lever and hope trials disc middleburn rs7 cranks with pro trials bash guard-silver with blue bash.22 tooth square taper. dmr v8 pedals. front wheel is a hope ti pencil hub laced on a black unnamed rim- panaracer tyre back wheel is a hope xc hub in red laced on a black tryall rim with singlespeed kit and 16tooth chainring- maxxis holy roller 2.5 tyre toxsin lock on grips in red. i am looking for about 350-400 but will consider offers.

im thinking of getting another mod frame and i was thinking about a monty 221pr but i dont know what to get. Could you give me your opinion on which frames ride well i want a frame with about a 1000 wb. tar phil

i think the old school giants look well good, i got the opportunity to buy one a while back and didnt, i regret it now they are good old skool trials bikes

i run my maguras on water, they work fine, in my opinion they seem to be more responsive with a water bleed, dead easy to do aswell, you can do it in a couple of minutes

check out trialfutur.net, they have a few disc hubs, the likes of gu echo czar adamant.

how about an old school atomz evo3, they are pretty rare but if you can get hold of one, they are mint, they weigh literally nothing aswell, only 1.8kg, i used to run one and it was great for riding street trials.

chainreactioncycles.co.uk sell replacement black levers for the older style magura's, have a look on there i think they are black like the raceline ones.

if weight is the issue, the dob is the best way to go, and at only 230 quid its a bargain, and only 1.4 kg.

when v brakes are set up properly they can work better than maguras aswell as being lighter, i suggest avid, shimano xt arent bad either. also use plazmatics pads. they seem to work very well
