  1. Heyy iTunes will do it for you if you look in the right places. Look around the advanced options in iTunes, and you should find an option that says iTunes will search for all the missing artwork automatically. Try it out, it worked for me. I'm hoping I've understood the question right, sorry if I havn't. Beans.
  2. Sounds like you have a bit of a dilemma. I don't know but is it actually possible to use a longer seat stem on a Trials bike? I have an Onza T-Pro, which has no seat, so I have no idea. But if your looking to sit down, don't get a T-Pro. Obviously. And personally I get tired pedalling to my local shop and back. But mabye I'm unfit. It definatly requires quite a bit of pedalling. I have another bike for more long distance rides. And I just thought, would a long stem on a Trials bike not look a bit silly? Like one of those foldable hybrid bikes... Hope this helps. Beans.
  3. Cheers for that! = | I like coagulate. Just sounds cool. I also like contemperanious. Don't ask me what it means. I think its something about something happening at the same time. = | Beans
  4. Weird dood. Mines on the 21st of August too. I havn't finished all my GCSEs but I have done 3 early (I'm in year 10). Not looking forward to that date. Ahh well. Beans
  5. Bunnyhopping is simple once you get the hang of it... The way I'm saying now is not the one where you can get the most height, but its the best way of learning (It was for me anyway). First you need quite a light bike, but by the sounds of it you already got one. Okay the move... 1. Point your feet downwards on the pedal so your toes are almost pointing directly at the floor- this will give you more grip when you jump. 2. Bend your arms and legs slightly. 3. Pull up on the bars as if you were lifting the front wheel as usual. At the same time jump as you would with no bike, but keep your toes pointed. This should lift the bike. Get more height by tucking the bike between your legs in the air. If you get good at this, then you can change step 3 by this time pulling the front wheel in the air and then the back rather than doing it at the same time. Hope this helps. Ask me if you have any problems with this method. Beans
  6. Hes right. You'd just find the nearest cliff to jump off on the new bike because you didn't buy the parts. You would get to the bottom, die, then realise that you should have bought the parts. Maybe I've exaggerated a little. Beans
  7. Yup. Its now called 'Classifieds'. Simple. Beans
  8. 1) A bear walks into a bar and goes, "I'd like a pint and...... ... ... ... A packet of crisps please" The barman goes "alright, but why the big pause? "Oh I'm a bear" it replyed, holding up its arm. Deserves a groan really. 2) A man is crawling through the desert dying of thirst, when he sees a bar in the distance. With all his strength he gets to the bar, and he goes straight to the counter and asks for water. The barman says "who do you think you are, walking in here asking for a glass of water? You have to pass the three tests first." The dying man says "alright, what do I have to do?". The barman replys "Well, first you have to kill big John", pointing to a very large man at the back of the bar. He then says "then you must run up those stairs, and pull the bad tooth out the large bulldog's mouth. After that there is a door, and behind it is a prostitute. She is sad, show her a good time if you know what I mean...". The thirsty man agrees to the challenges. He runs forwards, and quickly smashes a bottle on big John's head. He then runs upstairs. About half an hour later, he strolls downstairs with a smile on his face. The barman asks "have you completed the challenges?". The man says "not quite, where is that prostitute that needs her bad tooth taken out?". I like that one. 3) A man walks into a bar, and asks for a pint. The barman says "okay but why have you got a giant orange for a head?". He was right. The man did have a giant orange for a head. The man replys "Well its a long story really". The barman goes, "oh thats okay there is hardly any business nowadays". The man goes "okay, well, I was walking to the bar like I usually do, where I found a magic lamp on the floor. I rubbed it and a genie popped out. He granted me three wishes. So my first wish was for world peace. Sure enough, a second later I saw a dog and a cat hugging. So for my second wish, I asked for an infinate amount of money. And sure enough I had money in every pocket." "Wow" said the barman. "What was your third wish?" "well for my third wish" the man said, "my third wish was to have an orange for a head." Thats one of my favourite jokes. Sorry for the waste of time, it had to be told. Beans
  9. Okay if you want, but i still would have gone for the Da Bomb. You'd be getting £199 off the Da Bomb anyway, and it is a really good bike. Its your money, but I'd go for the Da Bomb. Beans
  10. Nooooo. Go for the Da Bomb. Way better build and spec. Plus it alredy has Maggie HS33's on it.
  11. Sorry bit of a grammatical error I just realised. I meant the bike that you have been offered, the Monty X- Hydra. Steel will be stronger, but it is not worth the weight if you are only just starting. Aluminium is still very strong, but a quite lot lighter. Sorry for the misunderstanding! Beans
  12. I wouldn't touch the Saracen with a ten foot pole. The Da Bomb has a waaaay better spec, especially as it has Maggie HS33s. If the Saracen is anything like my old bike, it will fall apart in a matter of minutes. But I don't think there is much difference in weight, if the frame is made from the same aluminium then usually its around the same weight. And unless I have read the post wrong, the first bike is made of steel. You'll yank your arms off trying to bunny hop, then again do anything, on that thing. Another suggestion is to look at Onza bikes. If your just starting, they are great. Some of them come in around your price range. I gots myself an Onza T-Pro. Hope this helps! Beans
  13. Good idea! Signed it and sent to my friends. Beans
  14. This happened to me before. A firm kick to the side that would not budge did the job. Not too hard, didn't wanna break it. My legs got me out of a lot of situations where I didn't have the tools for the job. Kick things- It makes them work. Beans
  15. Its you. Hehe. I've got Picassa, its an excellent programme, very snazzy! To resize the pictures just double click on the one you want to resize and then click on crop. It should let you make it smaller. Failing that, use Microsoft Paint. Go on my documents, right click on the picture, and click on 'open with'. Paint should be one of the options. Then when it loads, go to the bottom right of the picture and click on the little square. Then drag to the desired size. Simple. I hope. Hope this helps! Beans
  16. Heyy everyone. I just wanted to let out a little steam, and see how many other people this shop has affected. Okay. First things first. I went online and bought myself an Onza T-Pro from Aire Valley Cycles. It was at an excellent price, so i went with it. A few days later, it arrived. Minor assembly was required, easy enough to do just a bit of handlebar adjustment and fitting the pedals. I went outside with it for a test ride, for as long as the sun would allow. I came home the next day, and was straight out having fun on it. But then I had to turn around. The back wheel was wobbling rather badly, but from the inside of the hub. Maximum time on bike: 3 hours tops. So I contacted the shop, and they were happy to pay for the back wheel to be sent back to them and fixed. They told me it won't happen again. It was off the next day, and came back quite quickly. Fitted it again, and all was well. But then I started to pedal, and it was clicking. Then I pedalled more, and it got worse. So I phoned the shop again. They told me I should have tightened the BB everyday, like it said in the maintenance manual, but the one that they had forgotten to send with the bike. So I had to send the bike back to have it fixed, after a bit of phone anger. Sent the bike off. Came back. Only one pedal. Great. Phoned them again, they agreed to send new, better pedals as compensation. Got them, they were great, stuck to my feet like glue. But then I turned around again. The wheel wobbled. I almost died. Trying to get in touch with them now. Maximum time on bike: 5 hours most. Sorry about the ranting, but I feel better now. Any ideas about what I should do? Thanks! Beans
  17. I also had this problem, it turned out to be serious. The bearings had fallen out of place and were clicking everytime i pedalled faster. At first I did not notice, and i phoned the shop I bought it from as I had only had it a couple of days. Turns out it was worse than i thought, and eventually the bearings got caught and the cranks didn't turn at all. If you spotted it early then tighten the cranks and BB. This should put them back in place. It doesn't hurt to try. Hope this helps! Ben
  18. Heyy Do you mean a "trAIls" bike or a "trIAls" bike? If you want to start the sport, you may want to start with getting the name right. If your looking for a trials bike then i would suggest an Onza t-pro. These are quite expensive at first for a begginer, but have a look out on eBay for a good deal. Hope this helps Beans
  19. Hes right you know. I have all three. You don't download Bebo or Myspace, you just register.
  20. Heyy When I first came on this i asked excactly the same question. I eventually got myself a new Onza T-Pro, which so far has been excellent. WIth that budget, I would go for one on eBay as people have said. You may also want to get the T-Bird. Hope this helps. Ben
  21. Thanks a lot eveyone for the help in looking for a bike for me. I have now got myself an Onza T-Pro 2006!!! Take a look if you havn't seen one! Thanks everyone!
  22. Heyy I'm new as well and I live really near to Guildford! About 10min train journey away! Once I get my bike we should go riding sometime...
  23. Its a mixed decision- Bear Grylls is probably my favourite, only because he eats uhmm... everything! The last time I swa it he actually ate dirt and rocks! I would also like to add a little more to the drinking game, but its for Ray. Drink six every time Ray lights a fire then holds the burning kindling.
  24. Heyy I'm new as well but I've spent ages looking for the best option for a bike. If you read my topic (I'm new to trials, but I need a bike!) it may give you some help! From what I've found, its much better to buy a stock model and then modify it, rather than build it from scratch. Onza is a good begginer make, cheap for what you get. Generally it is all personal opinion on the best makes. Try ebay for cheaper stuff. I am in no way an expert, but this is all from looking for a bike for myself (which I stil have not found)!
  25. I was thinking about building myself a bike, but the same happened... I spent hours on the pricing websites and Microsoft excel, and it came up about £150 more expensive. I am now looking for a cheaper bike and then getting the better parts for it.
