  1. +1 ! I hate the story Chris' tells me about getting followed home with her mum. It's the "what if" that does me in, I remember watching a documentary about the american killer who used to tie down his victims in separate rooms and torture them and make the other watch, he used to target close families and old couples who were inseparable and torture them by making them watch the others suffer and he'd always make the women watch the men be dismembered and stuff. f**ked up thinking about it after my mums just popped her head in the door to say good night !
  2. You can get some heat shrink tubing to do the brake lines.... Youtube Video -> Original Video
  3. Just thought I'd post up one of my fav' rides, this ones a really nice ride and takes in some nice roads and undulations with plenty of places to stop and take photos/take a breather. Here we go - http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source...mp;t=h&z=11 I do this ride once a week to my dads house on a Sunday morning, but now a days I'm getting lazy and taking the car.... http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source...mp;t=h&z=18 I want another Road bike. I'm very much in love with the Columbus Tifosi with full Record on it we've got at work, but we've also got a Massi Carbon X which is giving me the horn !
  4. Well wait your turn, and if your lucky you'll get a Birthday thread. And you Bigamac !
  5. It's clearly a conspiracy theory.
  6. Sorry for the late reply, the route is marginally down hill for 3/4 of the way with a short shallow incline at the end. It's pretty much a straight road aswell, and I've managed to time it so that if I leave at 12 to 9 I can get through the traffic lights without stopping with a bit of slow down/speed up on the approach to them Heres the route, however it's almost a straight line. I can't get Google maps to pick up the tunnels and crossing that make it a straight line. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source...mp;t=h&z=15
  7. Joe Maher ! Facebook tells me it's your birthday, so have a good one ! Sorry it's a bit late, but I only just remembered !
  8. Knife, Axe, Hatchet, Bill Hook, Machete, Chainsaw, Strimmer, Hedge layer, anything useful for me Have to say the Bill Hook is the most useful tool I've ever used
  9. Oh get a f**king grip. Am I the only person here who see's Knives as a necessary tool and not something to kill people with ? I appreciate it's a bit of a joke now a days, and that were all having a laugh about it (even I have). But on a serious note a knife is a very useful and important tool in some roles, when I go working with the Forestry Commission I couldn't do my job without a good quality knife and the knowledge of how to use it properly. Maybe you guys should have a quick look into some of the things a knife lets you do by checking it out on google or on youtube, I would say a knife is the most useful tool you can have for survival and bush craft. If I was leaving my house to go camping/walking/living rough for a bit the first thing I'd put in my bag (or the last for ease of access).
  10. Double LOL. I'm glad one of my Photos has been of use to somebody hahaha
  11. I think this is a very GOOD idea. I found with cars that the first offer was always the best offer. If I had a car I wanted £1000 for and somebody offered me £700 with no complications I'd sell it straight away, the thing is £700 in the bank is better than £1000 tied up in a bike any day of the week. If you don't understand that these systems offer you a guaranteed return on your item by offering you below the odds don't even bother to fill out the form. Obviously my opinion, up to Adam to dish out the dirt though....
  12. Some of you guys might remember in the news a few months back about a dismembered body being found in a suitcase ? Well, the suitcase was found in a copse near Dummer which is where a good friend of mine lives. The night before the body was found they were out walking the dogs late at night and normally they don't see anybody or anything when they walk the dogs. This night they saw a guy with a black duffle bag running along the tree lines jumping in and out of the trees whilst they were walking the dog, they got spooked and ran back home and when they got back they locked up all the side gates and doors/windows. In the morning when her mum woke up to go to work the dogs were running around out of there cage and had been sick on the floor (stress?) and one of the windows for the back door had been smashed and the side gate was off it's hinges. How f**king scarys that ! I know another true story like that, but I can't remember the full details of it. Some really famous killer was caught about half a mile from my mate Daves old farm hiding in woods, they found him by the footprints he'd left from where he was stalking Dave and checking out his farm ! And the worst bit is Dave always used to leave his back door unlocked just with a latch which he used to pull by putting his hand through the dog flap !
  13. I'm a little more than 90% sure that "Fed up of time wasters" is grammatically incorrect. I too might say that in real life, but in text form it looks a bit silly IMO.
  14. Sorry Adam, but it should read "Fed up with time wasters?"
  15. Fuck it, if they can't find the filter remove option then they don't deserve the right to swear.
  16. I remember all that, I'd love it if things were still like that.
  17. I think most knife crimes are when one is used to intimidate in a robbery etc etc, I don't think it'll really make any difference to crime and stuff. I'll try and see what they say on British Blades, they have a serious chat section but because of the nature of the forum you need to have 250 posts in the "general" section before you can make a topic. So I'll see if there are any other views or mentions of this on there and quote them across.
  18. Don't know... I use this Kershaw to open my bike boxes at work. - Youtube Video -> ">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350">

    Sam Ward.

Anything for you babycakes, can't believe you swapped it for a shitty deng brake though.... I'm always up for helping people, if anybody ever wants anything just ask me before you go buying one elsewhere. I'm always taking bits off bikes and rather than throwing them in the "spares" bin or what ever i'd much rather send them off to a rider. My best one was a proper mission for Prawn, scoured for AGES to get him some lever bodies for his old school magura discs. Managed to get 3 full levers from 2000/2001 off the Magura rep and they were straight to him first class and with no postage.
  20. So what were getting at is it's a good thing ? It'll kill the tracksuit wearing nobbers but the people in jeans and a T shirt will live?
  21. I see what you did there....
  22. No buying or selling in NMC, and also... Nobody is going to pay 3 and a half K for that, knock it down to two and a half and look for offers closer to 2/2200.
