Ali C, You listed your prior achievements to date and asked if they counted in your support of chris' choice to not wear a helmet. Hence my resting on your laurels comment. I believe the top guys in this sport should lead by example and not wearing a helmet is just blatently not setting a good example. I dont think anyone can argue with that? Our views clearly clash on this topic and I want to apoloiges if my words were a little harsh yesterday, its just something i feel strongly about. I think its probably best if we agree to disagree on this and leave it at that.

I haven't seen that vid in ages! I watch it and wonder how it didn't have a similar impact to the Danny Mac fid from Aprill 09. I know its not shot as well but considering when that vid was made its bloody impressive still!!

I'd love to see him doing braked stuff on the Green Megamo, that bike is awesome. Would be interesting to see him doing a bit of TGS stuff too, ironically out of all the riding styles he has been exploring recently TGS is one he has missed! lol

In a nut shell, yes! But I will comment on things I feel negatively about, get over it! someone in your position should be promoting the use of a crash helmet not supporting it as an optional extra. Stop resting on your laurels and take responsibility for the brainless comments you write, you have kids that actually list to what you write on here and condoning the non use of a helmet by the top guys in the sport is cock like!!

Seriously, dont be a c0ck!! Chris is a professional who has a big influence on riders of all ages. He is performing/showcasing his riding in a public domain and weather he likes it or not is an ambassador for the sport we all enjoy so much. He therefore has a responsibility / duty of care to lead by example and promote reasonable safety precautions are taken whilst riding. Simple as that!!! I'm sorry Ali C but as you are someone who has enjoyed some reasonably high levels of media coverage and therefore has similar responsibility / influence to Chris you are being ‘plain as day’ irresponsible posting such a comment on a public forum. Hi All, After my brakes pretty much failed completely at the weekend riding on the koxx in Portland and I tried a bit of brakeless riding and really enjoyed the challange. So I decided to build up my old megamo and try riding a bit of brakeless for a while, hope you like it? comments welcome........ Proper seat now on.

Thats not my point, what i am saying is to be pioneer you need top be the first to have done it, I'm just saying Danny isnt the first to do straight front flip drops, so in that aspect he is not a pioneer and pushing the limits as much as many might belive he is. However if you read any of my other post you will see I do agree he is pioneering in how he is intergrating so many styles fo riding into one. I'm not trying to insult the guy I think he is a Legend and deserves all the credit he is getting for what he is doing!!! I admire anyone who dedicates themselves to achieving their goals. Note to self; Dont try and spark up a conversation on TF that might invoak some contraversy, some subjects are just too taboo.

Scotty Cramner has dont this before, he back wheeled up a wall of a kicker then front flipped off the other side. Cant find the vid at the mo but it has been done.

I guess it would be fair to say what he is doing isn't anything we havent seen before from other riders be it BMX, Freeride or trials but that where he is pushing the boundaries / pioneering / innovating is in how he intergrates all the different styles into one form of riding. P.S I realise I am playing devils advicote with my comments above and they are purely there to raise a response to help pass the time of day.
