  2. Sorry if this a thread been made many times but my search option wasn't working. I was just wondering wether anyone has used the monty spray for the rim and wether it is any good or not as im gettin silver rims and would rather not cover them in tar or get a grind. So tell me your reviews please.

  4. If you check my selling thread i have a fully built cheap mod with hs33's full set up the rear wheel has a minor minor buckle but is not relli noticeable, short wheel base and its fairly high at the front so its easy to get on the back wheel. Have a look

  6. Dont listen to them get a shadow conspiracy half link chain they are awesome!!!! super strong can be shortened to a perfect length.I have had mine for about 4 months and not 1 stiff link and i had to put a link in at one point an still not one stiff link. The only downer is adding a link is difficult unless you have a good extractor i snapped my cheapy one in 3 places but other than that its the way to go. Other half link chains bewarned as braintreetrials (reece) snapped the pin on his but shadow conspiracy ones are champion!!!!!
  7. That is a champion find. I cried with laughter lol
  8. That video is short but SUPER SWEET!!!!! The first gap to rail is completely insane. Would love to see a longer version of that rider.
  9. If the thread is stripped then the only thing to do really is get helicoils as solder will be very soft and will not bond very well to the frame so as you re-drill it will just get ripped out. I believe helicoils is the answer.
  10. Yes Mr Hutley but not everyone has the bleeding kit to use at there own free will and it costs £20 pound with enough fluid to do 1 pair so if you mess up the first time and need to redo them your buggered and have to buy more fluid. I say its worth the risk of using water. (but only because i don't have the fluid lol)
  11. I ride a mod but i used to ride street/jump and i was always considering getting holy rollers....Are they any good for trials??
  12. I agree even more so with younger riders.... in fact it doesnt matter how old or experienced you are helmets are a must even i ride with one an i have only been riding 4 days. Better safe than sorry, where a lid.
  13. do you still want that chain mate ?? its yours if you want it....

  14. I dont use snail cams just standard bmx tensioners but i would tighten the right side up completely so you get the chain how you want it....loosen it off a tiny ammount an then start tightening the left side to straighten the wheel but you will have to gradually loosen the right side off otherwise the chain will become extremely tight. That is if snail cams work like that if not then i suggest just getting some normal style tensioners. Simplicity works in my eyes.

    Helmets

I have a 661 mullet helmet which is bmx style and its really solid and comfortable, however i don't know if this happens with all style helmets but it gets extremely hot as there are not quite as many vents in bmx style helmets. I have had mine for just over 3 years now without crashing badly on it so i dont really know how strong it actually is but it does feel solid. Overall a superb looking lid, i'd recommend to anyone.

  24. I can come as well Mr Tom so i'll meet you from work. For those of you going i'll be the one that can't ride very well as i only started 2 days ago also my bike will look weird because my brakes are not set up properly yet (need bleeding and hose cutting), but it should be a good experience, an i hope to learn a few things.
