  1. Nice lil vid there mate nice to see some clips from the P'boro rides on there
  2. Did you bolt the tool to the crank / Freewheel? And still snapped teeth? What size bar you using to get that sort of force? You may need to take freewheel apart to find another way of gripping thread or even (last resort) crack inner freewheel thread off with hammer and chisel?
  3. I used a vice and a long(ish) scaffold bar over the crank arm. Give it a go? Worked for me. Tip... use some copperslip on the threads of your new freewheel when you put it on Kev
  4. Good looking pics Karl Sorry I couldn't make it guys. Jake.... you actually came out???? god damn you look sexy these days.

  7. water bleeds rule Been running mine now in front and rear maggies for 3 years or so with no problems at all. Cheap Free , not as messy and seriously better braking imo (much more responsive) As for your problem, I've never bled without a syringe and never have any problems so can i suggest you get one? Will make bleeding so much easier! Something which may enable air to get into your system is how quickly you fill your bath / sink, if you stick the tap on full loads of tiny air bubbles will be floating around and therefore end up in your brakes, when they are sat in your system for a while they will start to form a large bubble causing your squishyness. Try running the tap real slow and down the edge of the bath / sink so the water does not get air trapped in? just guessing here so hope it helps! Kev
  8. I found i would have a similar problem when it came to bleeding my maggie for the first few times. How i got round this was by lying the bike on the floor after I had bled the brake with the brake lever closest to the floor, take out the grub screw and fill up with water / oil using a small syringe and tapping the lever to get more bubbles out. You can even squeeze the lever VERY slowly to bring the water / oil up to the surface then gently let it out while putting your water / oil in as this removes issues with surface tension not letting the liquid into the lever. If this does not help put your syringe on the piston as usual but don't take the grub screw out the lever and press real hard a few times , you will see your pads come out and you might even see the lever piston move out to contact the lever blade. (best to unwind your tpa first!) You will also see lots of tiny bubbles coming into your syringe. make sure you don't push these bubbles back into your system! This should sort it a treat Hope this helps, Kev.

  14. Some people in the UK managed to get a 'gmail' addy instead of the long winded googlemail mines: mintsauce96@gmail.com Real nice looking site there, and great philosophy when it comes to the price! As a smooth rim user I'm looking forward to trying some new pads that don't cost the earth only to find out they only work well with a grind lol Kev
