  4. Still stupidly smooth I see Nice vid there mate, shame about the BB lol Kev
  5. Hairspray does work to help lock your brakes. Although saying that I have only ever tried it with reasonable pads. I run rimjams on a smooth rim and it works lovely. The only time I needed hairspray was when my maggie was in need of a bleed. My advice is to try the hairspray for a temporary measure but invest in some decent pads for a long term fix. You won't look back. Lots of topics about pads on here so do a search and see what takes your fancy really. Kev

  12. When I do a fresh water bleed I always bleed it with a full syringe 2 or 3 times to flush the oil through as much as poss. You may still find that you get some oil come through the next time you bleed but not a significant amount. I much prefer water bleeds, it's free, much more responsive and much cleaner! Some people say they wreck seals ect but I've been running water bleeds for 3 or 4 years now with no problems at all. I'll never go back to oil Kev

  23. You need to start logging yourself out on my pc Adi Kev
  24. I've run water in my maggie now for about 3 years too, I've never had a problem and they feel so much more responsive and nicer to use. It comes down to personal preference I guess but I'd reccomend water bleeds in maggies to anyone: Less messy, Easier to bleed, Increased performance, Free! Try to have a go with someones bike who has a water bleed before you do yours to make sure you like the feel. One thing to remember is if you like riding in sub-zero temperatures the water in your line can freeze. Some people put anti-freeze in with the water to stop this, but I genarally use it as an excuse not to ride in sub-zero temperatures Kev
