  1. Tarty used to do them... Ring onza/supercycles, they'll have some knocking around somewhere.
  2. It looked like too many sidehops to me. Rather, too many sidehops of the same thing.
  3. Buy a buffer pad for a drill or angle grinder.
  4. As with everything else, yep. A low rise stem and no stackers will see that bike ride completely differently.
  5. If you lower the rise it will make the bike feel like it has a higher BB, and make it harder to bunnyhop but easier to do sidehops and similar things.
  6. Pro tip: put the topic subject in the topic title, or at least the topic description. 'Need tips for' For what? It speeds the process of getting a (good) answer up a lot, especially with obscure mechanical problems. Edit: It is indeed a bunnyhop. Try to find a wall that goes from wheel height to maybe har height. Trials bikes are hard to bunnyhop, you've really got to chuck your weight back, but don't try to go for big ones straight away, work your way up until you can say 'I can do that height easily, so this height shouldn't be a problem.' It's worth noting the technique for a good sized bunnyhop is a bit different from a real small one. You also have two ways to land it too - to two wheels or to rear. This is all controlled by where you are over the bike when you're going up the wall. On my inspired, I'd consistantly land on two wheels because as my front wheel cleared the wall I'd lean into it somewhat. Going to two can help you squeeze more height out of your bunnyhop. On my zoot I bunnyhop to rear, possibly because I've left such a long gap between bunnyhopping up walls on a trials bike, so I've relearn the technique differently.
  7. He means like I meant, the rise on the stem is massive.
  8. I fairly like those. I think the geo might be quite nice, but predictably I'd want to have a go before committing to it.
  9. Your link shows a pedal... no bike? Also, 'brake'. Whilst I'm here, 'guys' and 'gals'.
  10. It's also f**king hard to do on a trials bike.
  11. I had me a 2002 T-pro with the standard setup. Anyway, one day I tried bunnyhopping up some shit and couldn't do it, so I thought, this bike is wack, I'll get another one. Turns out someone was selling one of my favourite bikes, and at a push I could afford it, so I bought a ciguena 24". Excellent decision, that. Just the right increase in wheelsize so that it feels like you're actually riding a bike, and can actually get places on it, but without feeling cumbersome like some stocks had done for me. I'm very used to 24" wheels, as I'd been running them for around a year before even getting the mod, on my jump bike.
  12. I dunno. Learnt to pedal kick, watched some videos, swapped a bike didn't use for a mod, realised it was quite fun, sold that and got a 24"...
  13. I miss mine a bit. That picture is actually one on the Bike4.eu website showing built versions, haha This geo sounds distinctly win.
  14. Heh... just keep it as a reminder of when you started trials?
  15. Not so fast I've got a dual ply high roller on the back (although I do have a super light schwalbe tabletop on the front) and I was running quite a long raceface stem (at least I'd call it long, maybe 110mm) I think if I found a stock with the right geo I'd change up, but I think 1085 might be a tad long and the only other frame I've seen for sale I like is the echo control short with 1070 wb and 35 bb. Fishy is selling an older control with 1065 25 that I like the look of, but I'm not sure I want to change to stock so soon, and I'd like to at least try some others before then. I'm well aware though that WB and BB is just part of the geometry and the head angle can completely change the way say, one 1085 bike handles to another. I just think I'd get on with a shorter stock better, one that could retain some amount of flickiness and importantly, not handle like a barge in regards to bunnyhops.
  16. Advantages for me are that when I ride a 26", it feels slower and harder to move around. I'm very used to 24" wheels so I'm used to the ease that I can move it around with. I don't find any particular loss in the ability to gap on 24", or any of the other moves I can actually do, lol. Hmm, all except for this topic was made before that one.
  17. Sick, I want one. How can I get one? lol
  18. How do you find out how many posts you've made in chit-chat?
