    You can, but you'll need to buy the freehub, the fixed sprocket, possibly a chain. There's no point.

    Surely you read that? Edit: Front freewheel- the drive comes from the front/cranks/freewheel Rear freehub, the drive comes from the hub. To run a freewheel you NEED a rear fixed hub... To run a freehub you NEED a fixed front sprocket.

    I've done it to all my bikes. No problems at all. Just, as already said, make sure they go in straight and even!

    Look at your cranks, if you spin them back and your chain moves, you've got a rear, 116mm FREE HUB. If the chain stays still when you spin the cranks backwards then you've got a front freewheel, and you need a 116mm FIXED HUB!

    Water, mineral oil, a bit of washing up liquid. Winner! Really responsive, feels good, keeps the seals happy.
