  1. Just get yourself an Avid Sd7 lever. A mate of mine has an XT lever on his bb7, and my Sd7 lever felt as good.
  2. Noo, not for trials. You lost all bite bu using that. That's what I usually do!
  3. Wish I came. Reading is awesome. And I wanna see all the gay locals
  4. He said in his original post that he's LOST modulation, meaning that he once had it with the same setup. Have you bought new pads? Take the rotor off, whack it in the oven for 10 mins, let it cool. Put it back on, bed it back in, tighten everything again. SHOULD be ok.
  5. Such a nice bike. Colour/colour scheme is spot on!
  6. Double negative? Or whatever one of those calls itself! haha EDIT:
  7. To be fair, I wouldn't put it past him! haha
  8. Did you put the same amount of turns on each nipple when building it? I've never had problems with nipples moving whenever I've built a wheel, maybe just be more careful?
  9. I could watch Gilles all day. So controlled!
  10. If you want to stop it cracking, get a 2bolt one if the brake is ok as it is.
  11. Can we write heatsinkbikes on our bike somewhere instead? 'cause i don't know where my heatsink backings are!
  12. Your front brake is a beast! On one of the gaps to front your whoole body shakes when you put the brake on! What set up?
  13. Homer: Bart, with $10,000, we'd be millionaires!
  14. Yerrr a hope should be fine, or better than a 160 bb7 anyway
  15. If you're talking about the front then the 160mm may not be too small, depending on your riding style. If you like bite and lock then yeah it'd be too small, but if you like a bit of modulation it'd be fine! If you're talking about the rear, I tihnk a 160mm BB7 would be far too small.
  16. So you're going to argue with Tartybikes? The holes keep it cool, too.
  17. Something 2-bolt would be best. I've found that 4-bolt boosters are TOO stiff and can make the brake worse(and quiet if that's your thing). The Echo booster is possibly the stiffest booster I've used and it made my brake soo much worse, after I took it off my brake had bite and hold again!
  18. Do you go at an angle or straight on? Which way's best?
  19. Why do the 2 new stocks have pretty much the same geo, bar the 5mm WB difference. Doesn't make sense to me.
