The story... Lets cut back to NASS 2003 at Shepton Mallet, 2 weekends previous i had won the trials comp at the Peterborough show, I had treated myself to a new set of Fatty Rs the weekend in between in time for shepton mallet event. anyway I was finishing my heat coming down off the big tower into the quarter we had built I landed and collided with then a good mate of mine. Anyhoo me on the nice lightweight pace against then a hefty steel curtis! you can sort of guess what happenend my new fattys less than a week old bent backwards not the ally though the steel steerer tube, so my forks were trashed! I felt like crying then! And iwas clearing my shed out the other day and found these fattys looked at them a bit closer and found the steerer is pressed in not bonded they had been given such a knock the steerer had started to come out so i gave the steerer a bit of knock with the old persuader to see if i can get it to budge some more and it did to a point where it wouldn't move anymore. So i guess the question is does anybody know of anywhere i might be able to get the steerer tube replaced on these truly awesome old school forks?

But that didn't really work at the skatepark nick! Nah hes right though if your finding it hard to flatten the bike practice bunnyhopping without a wall to start with. or find a slightly angled wall! Its will hurt the first few times you try!

Looked really good from all the pictures I've seen Adam gutted i couldn't make it. One thing i'd like to suggest i saw an awful lot of people not wearing helmets in pictures! HELMETS SAVE LIVES!!! I really think you should make helmets mandatory. Just my 10 pence worth. I would hope some people would agree with me on this!

Some of you may remember me but most were probly in nappies still! well thats how old i feel! Just had a 2yr break from the old MTB trials after a good 7yrs in the saddle 4 with the MAD team. Main reason i'm posting is i've just got back onto the trialsbike again, suprisingly havent lost much! some may argue i didn't have much to start with! anyway was just wondering if any mods can change my username as its not really relevant to me anymore! Oh and if any of you old lot have a video vault dating back to 2002-2005 please see if you have any sitrials.co.uk videos as i lost them some years ago when my harddrive packed up! Cheers! just do what i do.... 5000rpm and release! and theres 30 change to 2nd theres 58 change to 3rd theres 87 change to 4th and over the line! 14secs its about the same when i have sex! i can't decide whats better?!

no i had all my full leather seats in next time rear seats and spare are being ditched to get into the 13s! yeah mine should do 1/4mile in 12.8 LOL yeah right! i do 93mph over the line you should expect 90mph at least! i should be 98mph! apparently! which is a 13second run!

if your taking your bike down the strip then i suggest you bring a helmet! you can leave the bikerack on your car and take your bike on the back!!LOL more merrier! plenty of time to save £20 and a bit of fuel money! oh and BUG JONNY as hes told me no!

If your a petrol nut like maybe Bessel, Myself, Andy P, Ben Lee, but to name only a few! i've decided to organise a day to santa pod for trials-forum petrol heads. its a RWYB day which basically you drive what you drove through the gates down the strip for a mere £20 for as many runs as you want(car can take)! the date: 20th May 2007 Santa Pod Raceway (Northampton) RWYB i maybe also try and swing it with giles to get the MAD van down the strip! HA how funny! if your interested then post your thoughts for more info check out www.santapod.co.uk and i'll hope to see you there! oh P.S Weather you have a Ferrari, Evo, Lambo, Corsa, or a hairdresser car like Bessel then don't be put off, its not about how fast your car is its a really good laugh and VERY addictive! also i reccommend you have AA cover just incase!! LOL oh and if we badger Jonny Jones from TrialsMedia fame he'll come down and film it all! and you could get a cd of your runs! WE HAVE TO BADGER JONNY ALOT!!! Heres a video from my visit last weekend to get the jist of it! i'm in the S3 of course!
